Fanart - Fantasysquare
Art Contest
To celebrate the launch of the new Art Guild, Fantasysquare
is holding an art competition. The theme for the contest is inspired
by Square Enix's own art competition - design a new costume for
your favourite Square Enix character. All Square Enix characters
are viable for entry - including all Final Fantasies, Dragon Quest,
Parasite Eve, Chrono Trigger/Cross and any other Square Enix games
that you can think of. Examples of a valid contest entry can be
found at the bottom of this page. Guest judges will be announced
at a later date.
Announcement: The contest is now over! Look for
the entries to be posted soon, with winners annouced on October
15th.

| Contest Rules |
| 1) All entries must be of Square Enix characters
(Kingdom Hearts included) - any game they have produced either
as separate companies or since merging. No other games characters
may be used. |
| 2) Your costume design must be original
and in good taste - nothing above PG13. |
| 3) All images must be submitted in
.jpg format, with a maximum size of 600x600
pixels. Entries should be e-mailed to the_art_guild@fantasysquare.com
with the subject header "Contest Submission". Be sure
to include your name so we know who did which piece! |
| 4) Entries are limited to three
pieces per artist. Art Guild members are not eligible for entry. |
| 5) In order to be eligible for prizes, you
must submit your full name
and mailing address. Fantasysquare will not sell or give out
your name or address to any third parties. |
| 6) By submitting your artwork, you are agreeing
to have it displayed on Fantasysquare.com for an indefinite
period of time and to allow it to be fairly critiqued by the
Artist's Guild members and guest judges. You will be given credit
for your work. |
| 7) All entries must be received by September
15th. This means we must have received the e-mail by
this date - sending it on that morning will be too late! |
| 8) Judging will begin on October
2nd and will conclude on October 15th.
Results will be announced soon after. |

Square Enix characters. The characters are copyright Square Enix and
the pictures themselves belong to their respective artists. They are
not for use on any other site unless contacted by the artist.
