Fanart - Fantasysquare's Art Critique Service - Finished Critiques

  Artist: Glennis
Description: Its a picture of Yuffie and Cait Sith =3
  Comments:

I'm trying to improve on my colored pencil shading and such

Demon_Angelina's Critique
This is very well done mainly due to your sense of 'balance'. The image is well proportioned and even which makes it very clean cut. Ok to the pros and cons.

Pros: Your image is very simple yet very effective. The simple folds on the characters clothes are well placed, the colouring is well done but maybe add some more definition to your shading so you have a light source, and putting texture into it is a great idea. As i have previously said you have a great sense of balance everything is in the right places. The expressions are also very defined.

Cons: You should try and work on the straightness of the lines, even the best of us have our shakey days but a nice smooth line arts can make a picture look more proffesional, also while i'm on the topic of line art try and add more thicker/thiner lines in areas to amplify certain attributes (clothes folds, hair ect..)

This image is fantastic and i'm looking forward in seeing more of your
work.
=D
