Chapter Three
								Warriors Lost Soul

In Clouds World:

It has been a year sine Sephiroth died. cloud was alone, everyone went their separate 
ways. Yuffi, Vincent, Tifa, Barret, and Marlene went back to Midgar to live. Red xlll 
went back to his home to live with his grand father. Cid went back to Rocket town to be 
with his new wife. Cloud, well he went back to Nibelheim to live alone. Cloud stayed in 
Shinra Mansion where all the madness started. After the battle, Cloud wasn't the same. 
Right now Cloud was at Mount Nible, which was located near the town. Cloud went 
there everyday, to train, training was the only thing that kept him from going mad. On 
this day cloud was in the middle of a battle with a dragon. Cloud held Ultima sword 
tightly as the creature roared and attacked Cloud. Cloud quickly dodged the attack and 
cut the beast  on the side of it's face, the beast screamed in pain, Cloud quickly cast 
Ultima on the beast, it was sent flying into one of the  huge boulders that surrounded 
them. The beast recovered and used an Ultima of it's own but Cloud used Barrier. Cloud 
charge the Ultima sword, jumped and used limit break Meteo Rain. The creature was 
defeated, cloud was exhausted from the ordeal. It had been five days since he saw the 
outside of Mt. Nibel, he just decided to stay here and train and train. He left the cave 
needing the sleep and food, he made back to Nibelheim

Back at home:

*I wonder what everyone (Tifa, Barret, Yuff, Cid, Red, Vicent, And Cait Sith) is doing. * 
He hated thinking about them it brought back rotten memories of when he was there with 
them all and worst of all her. * Areis I only knew you a short while but I loved you 
dearly, I also love Tifa But I couldn't stay with her it wasn't fair to you. * He looked really 
tired, his hair dangled at his face his once vibrant eyse were now just tired and weary. He 
had just taken a shower, after preparing his bed. He was fnow lying down thinking  when 
he dozed of.

In Clouds Dreams:

"Cloud why are you so... I don't know detached from us now?" Tifa asked. Tifa looked 
beautiful that night, she had been wearing a lovely blue dress and a nice hair style to 
complete the image of beauty she created. It was a ball, Cait Sith the new president of 
Shinra had thrown, to honor those whom saved the world.
"Tifa after the ball I'm going back to Nibelheim to stay," he said looking up in the stars, 
from the top of the Shinra building in Midgar.
"So when do we leave, Cloud?" she inquired smiling.
"Well, I leave tonight on the one o'clock train." He stated quite bluntly. 
"Your not taking me?" she said with a saddened expression on her face. He turned to her, 
then he walked up to her, he pulled her into his arms and held her.
"I can't, I have to go alone everything is just so messed up right now. I thought being with 
you would make me forget her but no, it only makes me miss her more," he said softly 
stroking her back.
"Cloud I love you, don't leave me. I can help you with what your going through," she said 
urgently Cloud held her more tightly.
"I love you so much but I can't forget her."
"Cloud why are you doing this to me, don't I make you happy," she said doing her best to 
keep her voice from wavering.
"Yes, more than anything." Cloud replied soothingly. "I have to do this for me to prove to 
myself if you are the one or if Aeris was the one," he was rubbing her back. He pulled 
away from the embrace, she had been crying. 
"I'll come back to you. I promise!!!

Cloud woke up sweating. He didn't understand why this dream haunted him every night. 
He wanted to see Tifa so badly. He missed her so much, and yet he also missed Aeris a 
lot. The love he felt for both women tore at his heart, what should he do? *Did a piece of 
me die with you Aeris, or did a piece  of me stay with you Tifa?* He thought to himself 
and went back to sleep.


Back In Clouds Dream's:

"Aeris please don't go, not by yourself. He's going to kill you." Aeris didn't hear, she 
continued running through the forest toward the land of the ancients. Cloud chased her, 
then he stopped. He looked to see himself, Barret, and Tifa run to the land of the 
ancients. They had gone to rest in that room. Cloud looked on telling them "Get up" the 
three couldn't hear "Damn it I said get up, Aeris is gonna die hurry." The three went to 
sleep. They later woke up and ran, Cloud followed. There they all stood looking at her 
play, but it was too late Sephiroth was coming with the Musamane blade. Cloud jumped 
in front of her but he was invisible. He saw her die again.

He woke shaking "Why damn it, why?" he said "I hate this every night two women take 
my soul, this is an endless nightmare." He felt enraged his eyes began to blow as it did 
when the Mako in him was triggered, now he got out of bed, grabbed the Ultima and 
made his way to Mt. Nibel.

In Midgar:

"Hey, hey lady I've been waiting an hour for my drink damn it," a man said. Tifa snapped 
out of it.
"Oh I'm sorry sir. Here you are," she said 
"Tifa you gotta stop this. Quit daydreaming that pretty boys fine." Said Barret.
"I know it's just that I want to see him. I miss him so much," she said in a depressed tone. 
Barret put his arms around her. 
"I know, but he'll be back remember, he promised." 
"Yeah your right," she said cheering up. 
"Okay now back to work, damn it," he said. The bar had become the spot. People came 
from all over to drink, play cards, and watch TV. She had Vincent as a bartender, Yuffi 
and herself were waitresses, Barret was the bouncer, and little Marlene was the hostess, it 
was perfect. They made lots of money every night. *Cloud you would have been the 
perfect, cook. Your mother taught you to cook at a young age and that's a talent you had, 
and kept. Where ever you are, I want you to know I love you. * Tifa was serving 
customer after customer, and she loved it. 
"Hey it's you, you came back." Marlene said. The little girl seemed happy to see this 
hooded figure. Barret came over to see who it was.
"Who are ... oh my god I-I-it's you," was all he could say for he was in absolute shock. 
Barret stumbled backwards frightened at the sight he saw before him. It can't be possible. 
He thought to himself but surely it was for the person stood in front of him. The figure 
walked in, it was wearing a long trench coat with the hood over it's head, it's face 
somewhat in the shadow. The person was drenched from head to toe by the rain outside. 
The figure was also shivering. The figure finally pulled the hood from over their head. 
Vincent in turn dropped the whisky glass, he had been about to give one of the men at the 
bar. Yuffi and Tifa looked over to see what had happened. And when they saw the drench 
figure standing there. They dropped their serving trays. Their jaws were the next to drop 
in the absolute shock they felt.

Mt. Nibel:

cloud was now fighting two dragons at the same time, on his own. One dragon launched 
a strong Ultima at Cloud, Cloud easily dodged the attack. The summoned Bahamut, who 
quickly disposed of the first dragon. The second took the opportunity to attack Cloud as 
he back to reappear, he head-butted Cloud into the huge boulders behind him. Cloud got 
up though his left arm was injured. Cloud's eyes began to glow a lime green color, as he 
charged the Ultima sword and ran at the beast, he unleashed a new limit called Warriors 
Soul. It was a barrage of the sword slashes, he finished it off, he again charged the sword 
and unleashed a huge slash on the beast, the dragon exploded and as the dust cloud 
started to lift there stood Cloud. As he looked at the ashes of the beast and smiled. He 
knew he was beginning to understand how to use the Mako in his blood. he had become 
as good with his power as Sephiroth was with his own. All his strength was considered 
super human, he summoned new creatures, he wished he had the power, when Aeris was 
alive. *If I understood this power before now. I would have been able to protect you. * 
Then he thought of when the power first came. It was there in the crater after he, Barret, 
and Tifa beat that Jenova. Sephiroth brought him to the middle of the planet using the 
life stream, the power surged though him soon after he saw Sephiroth. His eyes began 
glow the same lime green color and he unleashed the Ominslash, on Sephiroth. *Aeris I 
was weak then, but now I'm extremely powerful I train day and night. No one that I love 
will ever be hurt again. * he thought to himself. His left arm had healed, another of the 
Mako's power. He ran back to the middle of the Mountain to do battle once more.

At Tifa's Diner:

"Aeris? How? What? Oh my god." Tifa stumbled still not over the shock. Tifa held her 
head she felt dizzy, she couldn't believe what was happening. Aeris approached her and 
placed a hand on Tifa's shoulder. 
"Where is Cloud? The universe needs him once more." Aeris said in all seriousness. Tifa 
looked up, what she saw surprised her, Aeris was near tears. *this must be serious. * she 
thought.
"What's going on Aeris, is Sephiroth back too?" she inquired.
"I don't know the enemy, all I know is that we just ally our selves with people from 
another world. I was brought back to aid you all in this battle, who or what this is, is still 
a mystery. But I spoke to the planeb of the universe and we are needed, Cloud is needed." 
Aeris said. Aeris looked so serious that she frightened them all. Barret stood up from the 
stool he was sitting in. He went to the middle of the bar. "Hey every one get out, we're 
closed for tonight," he said loudly and also it sounded a bit rough. One man stood up.
"You close at two in the morning," the man stated
"I said we're closed." Barret said as he started to firing a gun in the air, everyone in the 
bar except Tifa, Marlene, Barret and Yuffi , and Vicent,  In a short five minutes the bar 
was practically deserted except for the six of them. 
"All right, let's go get that pretty boy, he should be in Nibelheim." Everyone looked at 
Aeris and Tifa. They were all puzzled  at what just happened. Tifa stood up from the 
chair in which she was sitting.
"Let's go find him, I just hope he understands." 
"Cloud I'm coming." Aeris said almost to herself. With that they all ran out of the bar. 
Not one of them noticing that in the shadows there stood a figure, the dark haired woman 
from the castle in the stars.
"I the great Hyne believe you can do this, just work together and good luck!
