The Apocalypse (Chapter IV) 
Zell & Love 
*Okay, this Chapter is great and by the title it's about Zell & 'Love'??? The Next time I won't be 
telling you the summary since I want it to be as exciting as can be. This Fan Fiction is like a 
series... 
"So the girls are talking about us aren't they??? Then let's talk about them!!!" Irvine announced 
as Cid and Cloud reported over while they were taking a walk. 
A while ago, the girls were all gathered together talking about the guys they liked and disliked. 
Now, it was the guys' turn to. 
6 men, specifically Cloud Strife, formerly 21 was now 19. 
Cid Highwind, 30 or 29 was now 25. 
Irvine Kinneas, formerly 18 who forgot his current age now. 
Squall Leonheart, 17 who's 22 now by 5 years. 
Seifer Almasy, 18 now 23 by 5 years too. 
And lastly, Zell Dincht, 17 and now 22. 
"Okay, I'll go first since I'm the eldest anyway." Cid said. "From the lookes on yer faces... I 
know yer all interested ta know who I like... I like this girl named Rinoa. She's @$#&^*)(! cute." 
After Cid said everything, the boys all turned to Irvine. 
"Alright guys, I'm telling. Of course, Selphie rules the billboards since she's petite but cool. 
Yuffie is also nice since she's small and 'nasty' too." Irvine said honestly and with his evil grin. 
Cloud spoke up after Irvine, "Basically, I don't care 'bout any of the girls!!! All I care 'bout is 
Aeris," Cloud spoke coldly and grumpily, even colder than Squall! 
Squall stepped up to the boys and cleared his throat, "Whatever you think about, I don't care. As 
long as Rinoa's with me, I'm cool. But that Aeris is good-looking and attractive too, so Cloud 
should be happy." Squall tried to say more gracefully. 
"Quistis is nice and hi-tech and so is this girl Tifa. Tifa has long hair and is sexy too, she's my 
type as replacement for Rinoa." Seifer said meanly and had a staring contest with Squall and 
Cloud, their eyes burning into one another and so intense. 
"Well... I dunno. I always liked women and everyone of them especially a special girl--" 
"Forget it Zell! You're the only who doesn't have a girl! Give up man!!!" Irvine and Seifer teased 
Zell cruelly. 
Zell brough his fists to his face and started punching the air with blazing eyes and with gritted 
teeth. 
"Hey you, stupid idiot and you, raincoat boy, put 'em up!!!" Zell angrily but playfully threw 
punches at Seifer and Irvine, the two have been teasing him since they met. 
After a while, the three were actualling throwing jabs and punches at each other. They were 
wrestling each other like baby cubs playing. Cloud and Squall watched on as Cid left the room to 
join Barrett and Red. 
Later on, the 7 out of 15 Fantasy Team members were down a supermall in a new area in 
Midgar, shopping for goods and last time fun since only two days were left for them. 
As usual, the couples were together, Aeris was stuck to Cloud like a hitchhiker in a travelers 
shoes. 
Rinoa was with Squall, they were holding hands and Rinoa was turning bright pink. 
Seifer wasn't with anyone, but Tifa was with him yet not minding each other so oftenly. 
Zell... he was alone and lonely not friendly like he used to be. He longed for a girlfriend with 
him or even a girl companion like a sister, cousin or close friend, but he was alone. 
The others, Cid, Irvine and the rest were stuck at a resort in which Cloud and Squall's group were 
to meet with them. 
"Hoo boy, I wish Ellone was here. At least she would like to be with me, or even that brat 
Yuffie." Zell said to himself sadly and wheezed. 
Squall and Rinoa turned into a fashion store and Rinoa told the others to hurry on without her 
and Squall while Cloud and Aeris were in an ice cream parlor. That left Zell, Tifa and Seifer. 
"So Tifa, where do you wanna go???" Seifer asked Tifa whom he had a little but serious crush 
on. 
"I dunno Seifer. Probably that arcade would be fun." Tifa sighed and smiled at Seifer. 
"Sounds fun to me." Zell added and hurried on running like a four-year-old boy who has seen 
cotton candy. 
It was now Ten o clock. The whole FF team was now in the resort talking to each other in 
couples. Red XIII was with Yuffie and Cid was with Quistis who were both talking about their 
life. Barrett was running around chasing a girl in a bathing suit who just called him a "Gorilla 
Face." 
Zell was alone and he was on his swim shorts. he didn't plan to swim in the evening along with 
the others. Squall, Cloud, Aeris, Irvine and Rinoa were all swimming whil Selphie and Yuffie 
were lyind down relaxed and Red XIII looked on. 
A lovely girl, with brownish but mostly blond hair, with a strange purplish blue eyes and a 
smooth skin saw how Zell was so sad and frustrated. She was in a two-piece, green bikini and 
she walked towards Zell. 
"Hi there. I see you're pretty sad??? What's wrong?" The girl asked Zell who looked at her 
immediately. 
When Zell saw how pretty and charming she was, he thought he saw the loveliest girl in the 
world! He was so startled he fell in the swimmin pool and made a loud splash! 
The girl laughed and smiled, tantalizing Zell who surfaced and got up from the pool. Zell was 
red with embarassment. 
"Are you okay???" The girl asked Zell with a smile. 
"Uh... Yeah... I -- I'm okay," Zell squeaked. 
"Oh by the way, I'm Love. Love Chazty, and you're?" This beautiful new girl named Love 
Chazty asked Zell. 
"Uh... I'm Zell. Zell Dincht," Zell stammered and shivered either from the cold or from Love's 
sudden asking. 
Love Chazty smiled even some more at Zell and asked him for a nice cocktail at the bar. Zell 
couldn't turn down Love's offer and hurried along with her. 
"I guess Cupid has made a bull's-eye with Zell." Quistis said as she and the others watched Zell... 
"Zell, Love and the Fantasy Group will return in [The Apocalypse Chapter V] whose main theme 
is couples rather than the action, but I'll make that part too...
