I won't tell or give a hunch on what's coming up, but it's well... has gore and is a little violent and has turbulence... Enjoy "Okay everyone... this is the big hour! Our mission's just an hour away from us, everyone ready to rock n roll?!?" Cloud, acting as the captain asks everyone in an announcement. "I'm @%$^#!(*)&* ready to roll!" Barrett shouted over as he buckled his seatbelts. "Okay." Cait Sith coyly said and struggled with his seatbelts. "I'm fine..." Quistis murmured yet Cloud heard it. "No problemo sir..." Irvine cried behind Barrett's seat. "We're okay from here," Red XIII and Seifer grumbled as they sat down on their back seats where the bumpy rides take place. "Huh me? No I won't get space sick," Yuffie assured Cloud. "Squall and I are okay," Rinoa answered for both of them. "As long as Zell doesn't drive... I'll be fine..." Selphie teased Zell. "Same goes for me cap!" Zell screamed and growled at Selphie angrily. "Hower and I don't get worried at trips like this, we're used to it Cloud," Shana politely answered and Hower nodded. Aeris nodded and Tifa did so as Cid positioned himself on the @lpha Ragnarok with a couple of well trained and professional pilots. Cloud nodded and gave a final victory chant as he positioned himself beside Tifa. As far as they see it, there were 17 Fantasy team members on board excluding the three pilots that are helping Cid out. Cid Highwind, was piloting the ship. Squall Leonheart, Rinoa Leonheart and Yuffie Kisaragi were all seated on front on the right isle. Cloud Strife, Aeris Gainsborough and Tifa Lockhart were all positioned down on the front rows too but on the left isle. Selphie Tilmitt, Quistis Trepe and Irvine Kinneas were all seated at the back of Rinoa's isle. Barrett Wallace, Hower Strife and Shana Almasy were all dunked in behind Cloud's isle. Zell Dincht, Red XIII and Seifer Almasy were all unfortunate ones and where sat down on the very back while Cait Sith was lyind down lightly on the floor for lack of seats. The rocket's adjutant was on the countdown now... then off the Fantasy team was! *** "Will they succeed?" Edea questioned the sphere. "I am a strong gospeller and I predict that they will win the war... unfortunately sad to say... they will lose their beloved ones. I have a strong feeling that not even half of them would return alive, most will... be lost," The sphere said sadly. "Let's just hope and pray that they will all return safely..." Edea tried to cheer up but had crystal tears dripping down her cheeks. *** "I thought we damn needed damn space suits to be able to breathe in damn outer space?!?" Barrett confusingly scratched his head and shrugged. "I can't believe that the anger vortex's galaxy zone was this complex and cool, it's even cooler than our galaxy and zone!!!" Zell said as he ran lightly down the galaxy zone with his shoes. "We see this everyday... it's nothing new to us really," Shana exclaimed. "Hey shut up girl! This might be old stuff to you, but it's fun for us and don't SPOIL it for us!!!" Zell angrily shut Shana up and continued to glide down the galaxy zone. "Just one warning people, the galaxy zone is unstable and it also possesses black holes, meteorites and even powerful galactic barriers that can blow ya away." Shana warned everyone especially Zell. "Yeah right sis, whatever..." Zell ignored Shana's warning and continued to ran down the zone like an ignorant seven-year-old boy who's on a first trip to a museum. "Zell! Don't go too far!!! Selphie called after Zell and chased after him. "Selphie, watch out for the Astro Auric Laser donw there, it could shoot through you!" Shana called after Selphie and continued to lay in the galaxy zone. "Hey everyone, gather up. We're waisting time here! We're supposed to save the galaxy in about a month and we'd better get movin" Cloud commanded everyone. "Where's Zell and Selphie then???" Irvine asked and had a worried expression on his face. "Oh shit!!" Barrett's cry of alarm alarmed everyone even Cait Sith who was about a few meters away from him. They all turned to Barrett's view and all shrieked in horror. "Selphie, outta the way girl!!!" Barrett cried out as loud as he could to get Selphie's attention, but she was dazed in a star she saw, Zell also saw the threatening thing that dared to destroy a woman's innocent life. The Astro Auric Laser. Irvine sent a cry of horror and ran towards his sweetheart's direction like a panther chasing a rabbit. Barrett, Cloud and Squall also went into action and chased after Irvine who was concerned about Selphie's safety for than anyone else. Like it was scripted... it went horribly wrong... "Selphie!!!" Irvine cried out in a helpless utter as he watched terrificly compiled with horror, disbelief and agony at the sight... "No!!!" Zell and Squall both cried out to catch Selphie, who was falling down towards them. Irvine caught Selphie, his love in his arms. Selphie... the Astro Auric Laser shot through her right through her stomach. Barrett, Zell, Cloud and Squall all watched in horror especially Irvine who saw his loved one get killed as easily as she was just a fly swatted away by a kid. Selphie was all bleeding, it was still a miracle she didn't die immediately from the hole on her stomac. Selphie's wound was so deep, she was bleeding severely, her face was smeared with blood, her hands all covered with dark blood too and her yellow dress was now red and bloodstained. Selphie had sad eyes now, yet a weak smile at Irvine. "Irvy... sorry I... d -- didn't get t -- to fight with you... I promise I'll be okay... d -- don't worry 'b-- bout me now. I'll... always be with you..." Selphie struggled to speak out and closed her eyes, forever. Despite such a severe wound, Selphie still managed to utter some last words with a little blood on her lips that Irvine wiped. Irvine hugged Selphie close to him, eyes filled with dread and sorrow and were dripping blue tears of sadness... Irvine had Selphie in both his arms. Everyone in the fantasy team had solemn expressions on their faces, some like Quistis and Rinoa were crying and their heads were buried in Cid's body and Squall's body. Seifer tapped Irvine on the back trying to strengthen to him to face the facts that Selphie has passed away. Gone forever in space... "Selphie's death won't mean forfeit on this mission everyone, I can't accept the facts myself too but we have to go on." Irvine strongly said with a sad expression, but a fighting spirit. "The first casualty... poor Selphie..." Tifa whispered to herself and shook her head. Now the Fantasy team was on the road again. This time Zell was silent and wasn't too cocky now. He knows that because of him, a fantasy team member had lost her life and now it's like the death of another fantasy team member, Irvine. That's seventeen minus one already... The road towards the battle zone was darn long and the team had walked six miles now. it's been two hours in space, but three days on earth. Finally, the team arrived to the Vortex. The vortex was like a big black hole with powerful Space spirits shooting out from it that no one could get near to. "So where's the action?" Squall asked uncontrollably of adrenaline. He was getting anxious to fight the weapons and end the war because a close friend of his died because of it. As Squall spoke up... the ground rumbled and more space sparks shot out alarming the team and alerting each one of them for a quick action. As the ground rumbled and shook, titanic and gigantic figures all rose from the cracks on the galaxy floors. Squall uttered a cry of alarm and Cloud stumbled backwards with Aeris falling on top of him. Irvine and Zell shook while Cid, Quistis and Barrett all buckled uncontrollably. "Holy shit man!!! It's the weapons!" Cid screamed in disbelief as he and the others all stared up at the four gigantic figures that had powerful and titan-built bodies. "The huge and wide one is the Emerald Weapon, the black and horny thing that has a mean face is the Diamond Weapon while the silver and knight looking thing I think is the NEO Omega Weapon and finally the largest and strongest looking one is Ultima Weapon @lpha." Quistis recited ina trance. Just as the team prepared for battle... all weapons blasted the team with all of their special beams in full force that created an atomic explosion... *Thank you for being nice again.
