FF Mixed Fan Fiction IX Submitted by: Ultima Weapon The Apocalypse (Chapter IX) Ultima *First of all, this fan fiction is the longest I have written ever and it's about as long as 3 Chapters! Again I wanna thank everyone... Also a little info. here, this fanfic has blood, gore and lots of violence that may be too mature for young kids...(I sound like the TV) Hower created a huge barrier surrounding the Fantasy team as soon as the blast started to ignite with the team. The barrier shielded the team as it blocked the beams easily. The weapons roared a cry of frustration and stopped the beams that were generating from their chests. The leader, Ultima Weapon @lpha roared a mighty roar and flew high in the air followed by Omega Weapon as the other two, Emerald and Diamond bum rushed the team. "Crap!!! These four are bigger, faster and more powerful than us put together!" Irvine concluded with gritted teeth and closed fists. "Yeah, but we're a lot smarter," Aeris said in return. "A good idea to start this up is by splitting up into two groups. Squall, you take Rinoa, Quistis, Seifer, Zell, Shana, Irvine and Cid with you. I'll be with Tifa, Aeris, Cait Sith, Barrett, Hower, Yuffie and Red XIII. Move out!!!" Cloud ordered and stuck to his team while Squall and the others faced the two, Emerald and Diamond. Cloud, with Hower's barrier as an improvized skateboard, glided and chased the two other weapons. "Okay you two, while you're two other buddies are up against Cloud, we'll be takin the show now," Zell said to the weapons cracking his knuckles and with an evil smirk on his face. Diamond Weapon snored in reply and Emerald groaned. Then without saying a word, both weapons jumped high in the air and opened fire on the VIII team led by Squall Leonheart. Squall and the others dodged out of the way, Seifer leaped away but had a mislanding and bruised his ankle severely. "Ow! The hell with my ankle?" Seifer cursed and twisted in pain. "Seifer, watch out for that blast!!!" Rinoa screamed to Seifer who was bent down, mending to his wound. A big havoc laser cut through space like a needle piercing human skin and the laser exploded somewhere near Seifer's right side that sent Seifer flying in the air and crashing roughly rendering him unconscious. Diamond Weapon opened his helmet and with his eyes, fired multiple fast ammo at Irvine, Zell and Shana. Zell and Shana ducked to their left while Irvine crouched so low to his right as the gunshots all poured holes in the galactic floor. Cid murmured some dirty words to himself and snaked his away towards Diamond Weapon. "It this you l#&%^(%@ piece of thrash!!!" Cid screamed and hurled his spear at Diamond Weapon's eyes. The gigantic figure easily thwarted the spear away smashing it into a million pieces. Cid shut up and hid behind a crashed meteor. Diamond opened its chest again and sent a massive wave at Cid's hiding place. Fried Cid Higwind was left, er... wasn't left. "Cid!!! Damn it!" Irvine said and opened multiple ammo on Diamond then hid when Diamond threw something like a rock at Irvine. While Emerald was scouring the area for the others, Quistis, Irvine and Rinoa all cracked their weapons at Emerald's back, making nothing but slight scratches. Though it did not affect the monster much, Emerald seem to have felt the attack and turned around slowly and fired a yellowish beam at the trio. All three ran for all directions while Squall made a quick dash and a quick but sure cut at Emerald's leg making a dent. Zell threw his Dolphin Blow at Diamond's right leg making a very little crack in it and Shana, with her Living Sword summoned out Asura creating a dazzling blue flame that firecely burned Diamond Weapon's stomach. The weapon roared and tried to squash Shana but Shana leaped out of the way. "It's no use Squall! We're just like flies with our weapons like harmless toothpicks against these brutes, we'll never stand a chance!!!" Quistis complained to her younger comrade. "You're right Quistis... you're right... but I have an idea!" Squall said with his eyes glowing like a lion's eyes. The bright glowing ball suddenly exploded and sent Cloud and Hower toppling over like pins being hit hard by a massive strike of the bowling bowl. Omega Weapon grabbed several little asteroids from the asteroid belt and started hurling it like deadly daggers at Tifa, Aeris and Red XIII. "Watch out!" Red XIII cried out and leaped out of the way bumping Aeris. Tifa tripped over something and fell head over heels. Ultima Weapon @lpha roared viciously and sput out another of the bomb like things, this time at Barrett and Cait Sith. "Oh no!" Cait Sith cried out as the ball exploded just a few inches from Cait Sith's stuff animal body. "Damn man, another explosion like that and --" Barrett never finished his sentence, just as he feared another spark bomb. No, make that TWO spark bombs exploded right in front of Barrett and Cait Sith's bodies and sent them flying. "No!!!" Tifa cried as she saw her fallen comrades. Barrett has dark blood, dripping over his forehead, his Missing Score was wrecked, his legs were badly bruised and his left arm was torn up with deep wounds. Cait Sith, was nothing left now but a rusted cat head and bits of cotton. "You monster!!! You'll pay for this!!!" Tifa screamed at Ultima Weapon and threw several swift but deadly punches at the beast who groaned and moaned in reply. "Barrett and Cait Sith's dead!!!" Yuffie cried out and ran for cover as Omega Weapon hurled a jagged piece of asteroid at Yuffie. Cloud, who was hiding behind a giant planet namingly Jupiter, leaped into action and with his huge Ultima Weapon [That came from Ultima Weapon] used his Cross-Slash attack on the titan's leg that made a deep cut in it, but yet didn't cause much damage at all. Yuffie was throwing her Conformer on Omega Weapon while Red XIII was using his devastating Stardust Ray on it. Bits of spark bombs exploded and crashed into Omega's back, shoulders and head while the Conformer kept on rebounding on Omega's chest. Still all their relentless efforts were off not much use. "This isn't good Cloud, none of us could even kill any of them," Aeris reported over to the spiky- haired Cloud. Cloud scratched his head and used his Blade Beam attack that splashed on Ultima Weapon's chest but didn't affect it. "I have an idea... go get Squall!!!" Cloud ordered Hower and Aeris who took off at once to get the VIII leader. Squall concentrated and concentrated for his brand new and upgraded Renzokuken attack against Emerald Weapon, who was being held in a gigantic barrier by the combined magic of Shana's Kiyomori Sword Spirit, Quistis's Upgraded Blue Magic and Rinoa's Sorcery. "Squall... hurry up!!!" Quistis said to Squall who was nearly done with his meditating. Zell on the mean time, was trying to master his Extreme Kick attack, the kick that can turn thick metal walls into a pile of ash. It was truly a devastating attack, but it took years to master it, Zell had only been training on it for a year. Irvine and Seifer, lay sprawled on the ground. Irvine was all bruised from head to toe while Seifer had cut on his head and a sore ankle. "I got it, stand back for debris!!!" Squall shouted as the three let go of Emerald and run for cover. Squall didn't hesitate, he arched his back, got ready and was on an attacking stance, the Lion Secret stance. Emerald Weapon cried out as Squall dashed the beast and soared high in the air right in front of Emerald's face then started slashing, slicing and cutting with his Leonheart. Squall cut and sliced the weapon's face and upper chest parts and his little crystals so deep, so angrily and so fiercely it made huge and hot cracks on Emerald's body. Squall ended his new Renzokuken with a powerful downward, spiral thrust that exploded with the impact as it ignited with Emerald Weapon's chest. Sqaull leaped out of the way, as the gigantic beast steamed and hissed with smoke, half it's body was now rusted, scratched and cut off. Emerald groaned in reply to Squall's attack and sent two blue lasers down towards Squall. The lasers hit Squall's gunblade and reflected back to Emerald. As the lasers hit Emerald's shoulders, its shoulders blew up and fell down heavily towards the huddled Squall and the three women. "If that won't kill it... maybe this will!!!" Zell announced fiercely and sent a powerful Extreme Kick to Emerald Weapon. The kick hit the weapon directly 100% but, the impact also weakened Zell and didn't do much, since it wasn't mastered by the youngster. Zell flew to the ground. Just as Squall rushed to Zell, Hower and Aeris reached the VIII team and told Squall to come with them for Hower. Hower and Aeris remained with VIII team while Squall flew on Hower's barrier. "I get it, now let's go Cloud!!!" Squall announced as both of them positioned their weapons together. "This is dangerous, but we've got no choice if we want to beat the weapons," Cloud announced and sent everyone into position. "Here goes nothing... it's the very first time we did this together... so it's gonna be hard..." Cloud said as he set his stance, the Heaven Stance as Squall stepped half-forward and positioned into the Lion Stance. Omega Weapon lay into positioned, it was still a little groggy from Tifa's Final Heaven and Red XIII's Earth Rave both combined, it was so tough it was only knocked out for five minutes. "Let's go!!!" Cloud screamed as he and Squall both charged the beast with their weapons. "Kendu Renzokuken Musamana Leonheart!!!" Squall screamed at the top of lungs as he charged and slashed the biggest slash to start the attack. "Omnislash @lpha Strike now... Strike Forever!!!" Cloud chanted and screamed at the same time as he too cut a very deep cut to start the attack. Soon, both the two sword experts were sending powerful and devastating slash attacks at the monstrous stature. Omega Weapon writhed and roared as he was cut over a hundred times, as deep as lake bottom. Cloud sent a powerful wave attack that ignited with Omega Weapon's chest and exloded sending bits of metal and energy particles flying towards Red XIII and the others. Squall slashed Omega weapon severely twice so deep it actually went inside the beast's body as another massive explosion sent both flying towards the ground, over 30 feet. "Cloud!!!!!!!!!!" Tifa screamed as she saw her Cloud falling towards the ground. Tifa went in Cloud's way and broke his fall, injuring her severely and breaking her bones like cracking a wallnut. Squall toppled over some planets first painfully but at least it broke his fall as he smashed the ground and bits of stardust flew. The huge beast... Omega Weapon was now defeated as it roared and writhe in pain and twisted as it finally sunk to the galacitic hole it was near, and disappeared forever... Yuffie came trotting over to check on Cloud and Tifa as Red XIII ran to Leonheart. Cloud finally moved, his right arm first then his left leg. Finally he sat up, his arm was bruised badly and his mouth had drips of bright red blood. "Cloud! You killed Omega Weapon!!! Ultima's missing, but at least we won this part!!!" Yuffie cheered. "The war isn't over yet... Emerald and Diamond are still hot and so is Ultima Weapon, as I can see Ultima hasn't showed us his true power yet..." Cloud concluded and gasped when he saw his friend Tifa, underneath him. "My God!!! Tifa are you alright?!? Speak to me now!!!" Clooud shrieked ans started slapping Tifa to wake her up, he started shaking her hard worriedly realizing that his own friend, sacrificed herself to save his life. She truly loved him... Tifa groaned softly, then opened her eyes slowly seeing her Cloud. "Tifa, I'm so glad you're safe!!! Don't ever do that to me again okay??? Don't make me think that you would ever go away from me... you know I truly CARE for you Tifa... I... I... LOVE you and nothing is gonna change it..." Cloud cried out to Tifa and hugged her close to him, so tight and so warm. Yuffie backed away. "Cloud... I love you too..." Tifa weakly said and hugged Cloud back with tears in her eyes. "Ow I can't move, Cloud... I think I broke my leg and my ribs too..." Tifa cried out in agony. "You can't fight anymore Tifa... Squall and I are gonna continue this war and we're gonna win... I assure you this..." Cloud said to Tifa and kissed her on the cheek. "I hate to break your little love scene there guys, but we've got company..." Squall, who alarmed Cloud said. All the five turned to see the huge Emerald Weapon hovering over them, it had bad bruises already and it's crystal armor was now rusty and is so thin now. "Time to end all of this once and for all..." Squall determindely said and took his Leonheart, which still shined like gold and charged Emerald Weapon. "Squall!!!" Tifa, Cloud, Yuffie and Red XIII all screamed out. "Bright lights in the sky... diamonds so that sparkle fine... my Rinoa's love... my burning anger inside me... Leon Star!!!" Squall screamed out and did the devastating move that lost to Hower... The gunblade and Emerald Weapon both clashed... a bright flash started and it suddenly exploded. Cloud and the others closed thier eyes after... After the bright phenomenon, nothing was left of Emerald now. Squall lay sprawled on the ground. His arms were injured badly and they oozed with blood... his forehead was dripping blood and his mouth also dripped with bright red. Cloud ran over to Squall and looked down on him. Squall forced a smile and sat up still strong. "Amazing, aren't you a bit weak from the attack you did? You blew that scumbug off the phase of the galaxy!!!" Cloud congratulated Squall. "Actually my spiky-haired friend, when I practiced my newly upgraded moves, I also gained the endurance and resistance to withstand severe injuries, deep cuts and even near-death." Squall proudly said, but from his inner strength, he was now half weak and wasn't as good as before. *** "Okay, new grouping again team..." Cloud said. "So far, Emerald's dust.. Omega's dead and Hower fried Diamond. So the only one's left now is Ultima Weapon." "Tifa can't fight now, she's badly bruised and both Red XIII and Yuffie need to take care of her." Cloud continued. "So far already four casualties, Cait Sith, Barrett, Cid and Selphie, too bad they just had to go. Anyway, Irvine, you go to Yuffie and Red XIII coz when Ultima attacks they'll need you." Squall continued for Irvine. "Quistis, you go with Rinoa, Zell, Seifer, Shana and Hower. Squall and I will head towards the bright aura over there, you go find Ultima and be careful, three lives are important and so are six lives. Good Luck!!!" Cloud exclaimed and waved as the two teams split up. While Cloud and Squall were moving over to the bright light... a thunderbolt appeared in the sky and another struck near both of them. "Whoa!!! The hell is going on?!?" Squall said and raised his gunblade, readying to attack. Suddenly, a voice boomed from the distance that startled both men. "Where are you???" Cloud asked. No reply. "Just be a man and show yourself!!!" Squall ordered yet still no reply. Finally, a voice spoke from the distance, a very familiar voice. Suddenly, a strange vortex appeared right in front of both men. "The Anger Vortex!!!" Squall said and shielded his face with his bloody right arm. The vortex sucked both men into dark space... into oblivion... *** "Cloud... Cloud... do you love me Cloud... do you actually love me???" a soft, and gentle voice floated towards Cloud's floating body in the Lifestream??? "Cloud... open your eyes... you're okay now..." Cthe gentle and soothing voice said to Cloud. Cloud opened his eyes slowly and he shivered a little. His eyes were now veiny and they were deep showing his fatigue. "Aeris??? Is that... you???" Cloud weakly asked. "Yes Cloud... it's me... come with me... let's get married... now" Aeris said and floated into Cloud's view. "No!!! Your'e NOT Aeris!!! You're noe even someone I know... you're just an illusion!!!" Cloud screamed and tried to lift his weapon to strike Aeris. "Cloud, have you gone crazy??? Surely I am Aeris!" Aeris scolded her loved one. "No!!! You're NOT Aeris not, not, not and never!!!" Cloud screamed so loud the REAL Aeris heard it. "Cloud I'm coming my dear..." Aeris shouted and hurried over to the Lifestream. "Where are we???" Squall asked his team who had only lost Selphie but was with Hower and Shana, the two futurustic FF descendants. "We're in the dream world, the galaxy's dreamworld." Shana said. "What d'ya mean? You mean we're inside a dream?!? Get real!!!" Zell mocked Shana. "Shut up, you're beggining to piss me off chickenwuss!!!" Shana snapped at Zell and shut him up for good. Seifer and Irvine chuckled evilly. "Yes Squall, we're inside the galaxy's dream. The Anger Vortex has already reached the galaxy, and if can't find a way to stop it, it'll swallow even earth and the whole solar system with it. So you see Squall, it's not weapon who's our problem, it's the anger vortex." Shana quickly poured it all out. "And what's inside the dreamworld???" Rinoa shakily asked Shana. "Everything, both your and Cloud's world, our world, the past world and even other futursitc worlds." Shana again explained since her knowledge was so wide. "Correction sis, the dreamworld IS inside the ANGER VORTEX," Hower rudely said. "Ya mean we're inside the rottin thing??! Darn everything!!!" Zell cried and smashed his fist in ina floating rock nearby. "As far as we see it, twenty four hours here on the Vortex is like a year for earth. So one day is like... who cares?!? So we have twenty four hours before earth is sucked up." Shana said. "Whoa, whoa miss know-it-all, how do you know all of this???" Irvine asked Shana suspiciously. "I know them because all of this actually happened in my and Hower's time raincoat man. It happened and the earth was never normal again..." Shana bite back at Irvine. "So what should we do???" Rinoa asked. "End this Vortex... by leaving someone behind to find the sphere that runs it and deactivate it." Shana sadly said. Just as the team was talking, a thunderbolt hit in the center and startled everyone. "Oh Hower..." a devilish voice said. "Sephiroth... again?" Hower groaned and triggered his Power Band as his Holy glowed brightly and gently. Sephiroth revaled himself from the shadows in a cloud of dust. "Hey!" Sephiroth smiled evilly and quickly sank his Masamune in Irvine's chest. Blood splattered everywhere as Irvine moaned and vomited dark red blood and fell to the ground, dead. "No!!!" Zell cried out and checked on his friend. "Why so sad Zell? Now Irvine gets to join Selphie..." Sephiroth coldly said. "Why you bastard, I'll kill you for this!!!" Zell screamed and charged Sephiroth. Sephiroth shook his head and without touching Zell, sent him hurtling towards Quistis and Shana as they toppled over. He did it with Demon energy. "Demon energy, it's even stronger than Dark Holy Hower and far much better than your foolish weapons and sorceries. Hahahaha" Sephiroth laughed an evil laugh. "How the hell did this happen???" Shana asked scratching her head. "How did he get in the vortex, what's going on?" "Scared now little pretty Shana, scared???" Sephiroth taunted Shana and tried to touch her but Hower blocked his way. "Now what Hower??? Wanna fight, this time you'll lose!!!" Sephiroth mocked Hower but Hower remained cold. "Get outta here Squall, Rinoa and the rest. I'll handle this..." Hower ordered the team as Squall motioned for them to leave. "Okay, you may go weaklings... you wouldn't even provide me challenge!!!" Sephiroth said evilly. "Hower... I'll stay and I'll help you," Shana begged his brother with pleading and starry eyes. "No Shana.You go with the rest... I'll handle this..." Hower commanded his sister and created a barrier splitting him from the rest... "Now to finish the LAST battle we'll ever have boy..." Sephiroth said and smiled evilly again, licking the blood on his Masamune. "Aeris back off bitch!!! I dunno but you're not my Aeris... you're a beast!!!" Cloud screamed at Aeris and tried to stop her from raping him. The evil-looking Aeris licked her lips wickedly and jumped on top of Cloud who was on a fantasy bed, his hands and legs strapped to the sides and he was paralyzed. "C'mon Cloudy, you know this is what you like..." Aeris licked her lips again. "I said... BACK OF BITCH, get away from me, don't touch me... the Aeris I love and will always love isn't you..." Cloud said but weakly since the evil Aeris was draining the energy from him. "He said back off... bitch!!!" The real Aeris came to Cloud's rescue and tackled her own selft to the floor. While Cloud struggled to rip off his cuffs, the two women wrestled on the floor, pulling at each other's hair, slapping each other and scratching each other. Cloud finally ripped off his cuffs and recovered and glanced in wonderment at the two girls. Who was the real Aeris? "Aeris... where are you???" Cloud asked the two as they struggled for position. "Cloud, take your sword and strike at her!!!" The Aeris who was on top of the other Aeris commanded Cloud. Cloud hesitated for a while, then took his sword and hit the Aeris who was on top of the other Aeris. "Urk!!!" The Aeris on top screeched and pulled at her hair and writhe as if something was possessing her. Then, to both of Aeris and Cloud's suprise, the evil Aeris's clothes turned rugged and turned into pale and monstrous gray. Her eyes, turned from blue to bloodshot, her face, from smooth and light turned to rough and hideous and finally, her hair from wavy and beautiful, was turned into pure curly and torn black hair. A monster was formed, a hideous beast. Aeris shrieked at her own sight as Cloud pulled off the evil Aeris from the good Aeris and helped her up. The evil Aeris hissed and ran off. "Are you alright???" Cloud asked Aeris. "Yes. Yes I'm fine Cloud, thanks again... dear..." Aeris said and fell into Cloud's arms, weak but still active. "Now to find Tifa..." Cloud whispered to himself... Red XIII arched his back and leaped towards Jenova and Ultimecia. Yuffie took her Conformer and threw it at Jenova. The two powerful villains easily thwarted the attack as Jenova had Red XIII by a slimy tentacle and Ultimecia had Yuffie at a gravitic force. Tifa lay helpless on the floor... "Kill them," Ultimecia ordered. Jenova didn't hesitate and immediately snapped Red XIII's neck. Dead. Ultimecia increased her force and Yuffie started to shriek in agony as she held her head, she blew to bits. Bits of flesh, crumbs of what's left of her and blood splattered everywhere. Tifa cried out as she tried to stand up to confront her adversaries. "Now Lockhart, watch in awe as I use Jenova as my new powerful body, hahahahaha!!!!!!!!" Ultimecia laughed as Tifa watched stupidly as Ultimecia ignited magically with Jenova just like with Griever. Now Jenova lost its head and Ultimecia was on top, smiling wickedly. "Oh no, Cloud, where are you???" Tifa said to herself and slowly backed away from Jenova- Ultimecia. Red XIII was now a corpse and nothing was left of Yuffie, sad and sick. As far as we see it, Sephiroth has risen and is currently confronting Hower... Jenova-Ultimecia killed Red XIII and Yuffie and is now trying to kill Tifa too... Ultima Weapon @lpha was somewhere in the Vortex and is still at large and lastly... an evil version of Aeris was lurking in the shadows, all evil has risen totally and this might be what the Apocalypse was all about... what the sphere, Bugenhagen and Edea failed to see... the thing that is killing the Fantasy team slowly... Yuffie... Red XIII... Selphie... Barrett... Irvine... Cait Sith... Cid only ten remain... prepare for annihilation!!! *Chapter X and possibly the last Chapter will soon come up. Hope you like the fanfics coz it was created for you... the next Chapter will be as long and will be better since it's the last and ending parts. I'll also summarize everything by that time...
