PAST OPERATIONS chapter 1

The sun rose on another beautiful day at the SOILDIER training academy situated at the heart of Junon harbour.
In one of the dorms, Zack was waking up to the irritating knocking of his door.

Zack: eeeeearrh! Just shut up!

The knocking continued while Zack buried his face into his pillow.

Zack: Come in.

His voice was a bit muffled, but the person got the message and ran in with a bright smile on his face. It was a shinra 
messanger.

S.Messenger: Ok. I’ll cut you some slack.

The messenger tossed the mail on the bed and walked to the door before turning around for one last word.

S.Messenger: Oh year sir, there’s recently been a batch of shinra troops promoted to 
SOILDIER class training here. I heard one of them owns a buster sword as well.
Zack: Cool. What’s this guys name?
S.Messenger: eeer…all I can remember is something Strife. You should check out where he is at reception. You’ll 
get some answers there.
Zack: Maybe I’ll do just that.

After the door had been closed Zack sat up in bed and thought.

Zack: (maybe I should see this Strife guy. If he’s good enough then we could be….Buster blade partners! Eeer… 
Maybe just battle partners)

After Zack had pondered his thoughts he began looking through mail and searching for something worth while.

Zack: Junk, junk, junk….more junk. mmm…This writing is familiar. Could it be?
