You know the address by now, if u don’t send any comments 2 kerrick_thedarkangel@angelfire.com The Last Ancient (part 2) Two days later, back in Nibelheim, Tifa was still in a bad mood with Cloud. He still wouldn’t do anything. He just stayed in his house being miserable and pining over Aeris. “Why can’t he just accept the fact that she’s gone?” Tifa said to Barrett. They were standing in the middle of the village watching Marline chase pigeons round the water tower. “It came as a real shock to his system.” Said Barrett; “He really loved her didn’t he?” “He must have done.” Tifa sighed. “You still have feelin’s for him?” “Some, but not as strong as they were before. I want to meet some one else, some one with long brown hair and eyes that change colour. I’d also like him to be sensitive and have a sense of humour.” “Then travel a bit, you ain’t gonna find anyone here are ya.” “You’re right Barrett, maybe I should leave…” Before Tifa could finish Marline screamed and came running across the village to Barrett. “Are you alright Marline?” Said Barrett worried. “There’s a man over there, he looks scary.” She said looking up at Barrett and pointing to where the man was. “I’ll go check this out.” Said Tifa running to where Marline was pointing. “Be careful now.” Barrett shouted after her. “I will.” She shouted back. When she reached the Shinra mansion, she found the stranger lying on the ground breathing heavily. “Are you alright?” She said sitting him up. “Uhhh, where am I?” He asked trying to brush his hair out of his eyes and face. “You’re in Nibelheim.” “Where?” He said finally brushing his hair back. When Tifa saw his face she felt her heart skip a beat, he was just the person she had described to Barrett, he had long brown hair and his eyes changed colour. She knew that because the minute he saw her his eyes changed from grey to sky blue. “N-Nibelheim.” She stuttered. “Never heard of it, hang on a sec, what year is it?” He said his eyes turning emerald green. Tifa giggled slightly, “Its 3195.” “3195! Bloody hell, that means I’ve been stuck in that crater for 100 years!” “Excuse me?” “I’ll explain later.” He said trying to stand up, “Oh, I’m Kerrick by the way. Kerrick Eaglewing.” He tried to walk but his leg gave way making him fall to the floor and making Tifa laugh. “Your funny.” She said, “I’m Tifa, what brings you to Nibelheim?” “I was told that I would find heroes here, heroes that saved the planet only a month ago.” “And who told you that?” “The planet, she is very grateful for their help.” “Is she now? Well you’ve come to the right place.” “Great!” He said falling over again, “So will you help me?” “Help you with what?” “Save the planet again.” “Again? I thought we killed Sephiroth.” “The thing that threatens all life on this planet is twice as bad as Sephiroth, it is a distant cousin of the weapons that were roaming around when Sephiroth was destroying everything. It is called Gamma Weapon, twice as strong as all of the planets weapons.” “Even…” “Yes even Emerald Weapon.” “How did you know I was going to say Emerald Weapon?” “Oh, yes, I forgot to tell you.” “Tell me what?” “I’m an Ancient, the last of my kind.” “You’re an Ancient?” “Yup, well not just any Ancient. My stay inside the planet has increased my power beyond that of any Ancient.” “Hmm, do you think you could bring people back from the dead?” “I might be able to, but I would need to have someone who loved that person more than anything to help me.” A smile spread across Tifa’s face, “I think that can be arranged.”
