FFVII Fan Fiction Submitted by: Ultima Weapon The Sign (Part 2) *This is the continuation from "The Sign Part 1"... Again Cloud Strife is the narrator and FF Characters mentioned play an important role... I slashed the railbars and slashed them and slashed them until almost everything glowed a green glow. "Stop it Cloud!!! You're going insane!" Tifa desperataely tried to stop me, but that only made me angrier. I took my Ultima Weapon again and this time, thrust it deep in the Highwind floor. "Hey what're ya nuts? You could hit the systems and crash this whole ship!" Cid angrily tried to stop me too. "Shut up! Get away from me, everyone! Everyone get away from me now!!!" I screamed until my lungs burned and hurt. Yuffie and Barrett ran away heading for safety and away from me, Cid ducked behind the computer. I expected Tifa to ran away, but to my surprise, she came closer to me, and put her hands together with my arms. "Cloud... you're..." That was the last thing I remembered before I blacked out. "Cloud... Cloud..." I voice came to me, so near and so close. "Cloud... Cloud..." The voice sounded closer I felt the speaker breathed down my neck. "Cloud..." It went again. Before I knew what was happening, a dark figure stood in front of me.The figure was thin and was a girl, even from afar I could tell it. I suddenly knew I was dreaming because I couldn't fell myself in reality anymore. I was drifting away! "Cloud..." The figure talked again, this time her voice was soft and sweet. She had the kindest voice I ever heard in my entire life. "Wh -- who are you?" I asked her, my knees trembling and my heart beating faster than usual. "Cloud... It's not your fault... It's my fault..." She went on. No! I thought, this couldn't be the last person I wanted to see, she couldn't be... AERIS!!! "Cloud... I want you to... I want you to see me... better..." The person who I think was Aeris went on, her voice still the same. I couldn't think straight, my heart was skipping beats and I couldn't breathe. I felt myself fainting again. No. "Aeris, I -- I -- I'm so sorry," I managed to squeak in a soft voice, that showed my fear and confusion. "Cloud... I want you to forgive everyone... Everyone including yourself... It wasn't your fault..." She said. "No! It was all my stupid mistake! I was weak and I was stupid! I let the only person that mattered more to me go away, I let her be taken away from me! I'll never forgive myself, never!!!" I shouted and tried to run away, but an invisible force kept my feet glued to the floor. "Cloud... Goodbye... for now..." She called to me and I saw her walking away. "Aeris no! Don't go... I want to see your face..." I told her, but felt myself black out again and fall... asleep??? "Nooooo!!!" I screamed and woke up from my long dream. I think I scared the person beside me to death since he or she fell off the bed. I blinked twice, then thrice. I adjusted me eyes to the red room that I didn't remember where this was. I stretched my arms and checked if everything of me was fine and I wasn't glowing anymore. "Cloud!" Tifa stood up since she fell off and sat beside me. "Tifa???" I asked confusingly. "Where am I?" I asked her. "You're in Midgar Cloud, we're in Sector 5." Tifa informed me. "Aeris's house?" I asked, feeling my arms shaking. "Yes Cloud, you're actually sleeping in her room," Tifa told me. "I -- I saw her last night," I told Tifa but felt myself dumb and stupid for telling her, so I immediately took what I said back. "I see she's still in you heart Cloud, that's nice." Tifa said to me. Tifa was dressed in a dress I never saw before, she had a pink night-gown and she was on bare foot, and she looked younger! "What's wrong Cloud? Don't you remember me?" Tifa asked me, her eyes deep with concern. "Uh, no, that's not it Tifa. You see..." I tried to tell her but I felt myself and took it back again. Tifa didn't ignore it this time. "You dreamt about her didn't you?" Tifa asked me and eyed me suspiciously. I couldn't deny or hide it. I burst the whole story to her in about twenty minutes. She listened very well, and every time I mentioned Aeris she shivered and turned away from me. I finally ended my story to find Tifa, her head down and she was sobbing. "What's wrong now?" I asked her. "Oh Cloud, Aeris was just here a minute ago. She said to me that I should take care of you and the planet. She told me that she loved you and she wanted to be with you for as long as she could live. She told me that it wasn't your fault that she died and she'll always forgive you no matter what. Cloud... Aeris does love you! She loves you so much, she can't let go of you!" Tifa told me hurriedly. I couldn't say anything, a part of my mind had a glimmer of strange hope and the other, total failure. "Can't you see it Cloud? Aeris is alive!!! Aeris has come back... and she's come back for you!!!" Tifa burst it all out and cried so hard she looked miserable and I was troubled again. "Huh? Why? Why did she return?" I asked Tifa. My mind was feeled with questions, and I couldn't think straight... was Aeris really alive again? Before I could say something to Tifa, I smelled the sweet scent of flowers. Aeris's flowers coming from downstairs and from the corner of my eye... stood the flower girl that smiled at me... AERIS...
