Title: Turks By: Chaos Chapter Two Reno Boy, what an experience me and my co-workers had. Being a Turk is harder than it looks. Just getting into it is as hard as getting into SOLDIER. Surprisingly, it was easy for me, but just seeing others try to get in is hard enough. It's sort of like watching some one try to get in a fraternity. Tseng was the one who recommended me, seeing as I didn't know who to talk to about getting in. Originally, I lived in Sector 3, where I was born and raised. My first encounter with Tseng was in my own home. He was sent to interrogate and my father on the location of a rare type of materia, and then murder him. I stepped in and started to fight Tseng. All I had was a poison materia, and a crowbar I picked up as a weapon. Casting poison on my foe, and then repeatedly pummeling him, I managed to tire him down. In the end, it came to a draw. We stopped fighting and I asked Tseng what kind of materia he wanted to find in the first place. He said, "It is the most powerful materia in existence. Though it is only a myth, your father is the only one who knows the whole story. So I've been sent here to get the information, and then silence him so that no one else will know." After that, I demanded him to leave and he did. When he was out of hearing range, I asked my father what the name of the materia was. He said, "I'm not too sure on this, but I think it is called 禅he Knights of Round'. Story has it, that it has the power to summon multiple humanoid creatures dealing an enormous amount of damage." The next day, Tseng came knocking on my door. Holding a white flag as a sign of peace, he asked to come in. I let him in, but to make sure, I grabbed my crowbar, and asked him to remove his weapon and materia. He did so and sat down at the kitchen table. Safely putting the items in a well hidden spot, I asked him what he was doing there. Tseng responded, "Reno, after that fight yesterday, I started thinking. My job, as with all other Turks, is to do things that most people wouldn't for Shinra. These kinds of jobs are, for example; spying, assassinating, capturing, etc. You already know that. But what you may not know is that we also look for candidates for SOLDIER . If my superiors saw you fight me, they'd put you in SOLDIER right off the bat. But I can't let that happen. So, what I'm going to do is, put you in Turks as my partner. You need to get along in the company, but I will not let you be a mindless drone like the people in SOLDIER." I was dumbfounded. I believe my response was, "Uh..................uh.................?" Tseng laughed and said, "Starting in three weeks, you'll be a full fledged Turk. By then you'll be done saying your goodbyes and packing. Family visits are once every month unless on assignment. We'll equip you with a more powerful weapon, and some more materia. Oh, and don't worry, your dad is safe. I just said that before he could tell me the information, he fell down a ravine." What a break. That was unbelievable. Come on, how many times does a person get an exclusive occupation so easily? Oh boy, Rude had to go through hell just to get a low ranking position of Turks. Elena had it a little easier. She was just a regular high ranking Shinra soldier who just happened to get promoted to Turk just because of my injuries from my first fight with AVALANCHE. This is the end of my background. I'll have more to talk about. You can count on that. Just gotta go put some wood on the fireplace. Damn, Tseng sure picked a great place to put Turk Manor. Seriously. We can go out whenever we want to and go fight the Midgar Zolom. The weird thing is, whenever we kill it, there seems to be another one that pops up. That is odd. Anyway, it's Rude's turn now. *DISCLAIMER* Final Fantasy 7 and all other Final Fantasy references is Square's and only Square's. This fanfiction is mine and mine alone. Back off!!
