                                 A New Evil (part 2)

Inside the orphanage, Edea sat by the fire reading, "Edea?" Said Rinoa, "Could I have a 
word?"
Edea looked up and said, "Of course my child. What's on your mind?"
"Did you have a child at one time?" Rinoa asked.
Edea looked down at the fire and said, "Yes, I had a son about 19 years ago. He was 
taken from me the moment he was born by the Estharian Government. Adel knew I was a 
sorceress so she ordered that my child be taken away just encase he was a threat to her."
"That's terrible, do you know what happened to him?"
"I suppose he was killed, but I do remember hearing that a convoy was hijacked by 
resistance members, I lived in hope that it was the one he was on, that was one reason 
why I opened this orphanage, I hoped someone would bring him in."
"But nobody did, right?"
"Yes, that is correct."
"Well I think we've found him."
Edea looked at Rinoa with a new gleam in her eye, "How do you know if its him?"
"Well, a 19 year old came to us for help about a month ago, he was from Esthar and I can 
sense a power very similar to yours within him."
"You must take me to him!"
"Well, we leave to go back to the garden tomorrow, so you could come with us if you 
wish." Said Squall from behind Rinoa.
"I think I will, thank you both for telling me." 
"Any time Matron."

Back at the Garden, everything was ready for Rinoa's party. The stage was set up, the bar 
ready to serve and all the decorations up.
Kerrick, Angel and Zell stood at the back of the Quad admiring their handy work, "We 
did a good job didn't we?" Said Angel resting her head on Kerrick's shoulder.
"Yeah, we did Angel." Kerrick replied and kissed the top of her head, "What do u think 
Zell?"
"I think... its dinner time!" He said and zoomed off towards the canteen leaving Angel 
and Kerrick laughing.
"He's funny!" Said Angel smiling at Kerrick.
"One of the many reasons he's my best friend." He replied smiling back at her.
"I thought I was your best friend." 
"You are my best friend in a different way to Zell, you are also the love of my life, that 
makes you twice as special."
"Ahhhh, you're so sweet!"
They kissed, it was a very passionate kiss. "You wanna go have some fun in my dorm?" 
Said Kerrick after they broke apart, he had a cheeky grin on his face.
"Mmm, I'd love that!" She replied playfully stroking the front of his trousers.
He gently squeezed her breasts and kissed her again. He then swept her off her feet and 
carried her up to the dormitory's.
As they made their way through the garden, they passed Selphie and Irvine. Irvine was 
talking but Selphie wasn't listening, 'Why is he with her?' She thought, 'When he could be 
with me!' 
Secretly Selphie has liked Kerrick since he arrived at the Garden, she hasn't told a soul, 
"Sephy?" Irvine said waving his hand in front of his girlfriend's eye's, "Are you listening 
to me?"
This brought Selphie back to reality, "Hmm? Oh, yes Irvie, carry on." As Irvine 
continued, Selphie began making a plan, a plan that she would execute in the party 
tomorrow night.

Later...
After a wild, steamy sex session, Kerrick and Angel lie in Kerrick's bed. Angel was 
resting her head on Kerrick's chest, "Wow baby, how are you so good at that?" She said 
sighing slightly.
"Dunno." He replied, "Comes naturally I guess. Where did you get such a sexy body?"
She giggled, "Ahh, you're so sweet!"
"So, what you wanna do now?"
"Hmm, lets see... Why don't we fuck again?" 
"Good idea!"
With that she jumped on top of him and stuck her huge boobs in his face. At which point 
we fade out. And fade back in on Zell, who is still stuffing his face with hotdogs, "Uhh, 
Zell? Don't you think you've had enough? Leave some for the others!"  Said Quistis as 
she watched Zell finish his eleventh hotdog.
"I guess." He said spraying the table and Quistis with crumbs, "Oops, sorry Quisty, let me 
clear that up for you." He picked up a napkin and began wiping the side of her beautiful 
face, as he finished wiping all the crumbs off, they looked into each other's eyes and 
leaned towards each other ready to kiss, but then... "Instructor Trepe? Could you help me 
with this?" One of Quistis' many admirers known as Trepeies. As she turned to face the 
cadet Zell leaned over to far and fell off his chair. 
"Damn Trepeies!" He said looking up and watching Quistis walk off with the cadet. As 
she walked, Quistis looked back at Zell, smiled and mouthed, 'I'll see you tomorrow at 
the party.'
"I think I'm in here!" he said standing up and brushing himself off. 

That night...
Irvine lay awake in his dorm thinking. He was thinking about what had happened that day 
when he was talking to Selphie, she had hardly listened to a word he had said. And the 
day before when Quistis fell off a ladder she had been flirting with Kerrick! He decided 
to talk to Selphie about it the next day. He closed his eyes and fell into a dreamless sleep.
Across the hall, Angel and Kerrick lay in their bed. Angel's head once again on Kerrick's 
chest, she was fast asleep and smiling. Kerrick however lay awake, stroking his Angel's 
hair. He could feel something growing inside him, some kind of power that was similar to 
that of Radiant, "Radiant." He whispered, "What is this power inside me?" 
A familiar white mist appeared next to his bed and eventually took the form of his trusted 
GF and mother of his true love, "The power that grows within you, Kerrick, is the power 
of you biological mother." She said with her usual warm smile.
Kerrick looked shocked at these words, "But, my mother had no magical powers!"
"Your foster mother didn't, but your real mother was a sorceress."
"You mean, I've been adopted twice?"
Yes you have, her power is growing within you now because she now knows you are 
alive. You are a sorcerer, and have been since birth, you have had no powers because 
your mother believed you dead."
"You mean, once I meet my mother, my powers will appear?"
"Yes."
"Cool!"
