This is my first fanfic so take it easy on me! As always Rinoa Heartilly, Squall

sue me! I'm just a poor little insignifigant person who likes Final Fantasy 
Eight!
Ok I'll stop babbling now and let you enjoy the fanfic!

	It was a sunny day in Balamb garden, about a month after Ultimecia had 
been defeated and Rinoa Heartilly was walking to the cafeteria with her 
boyfriend Squall Leanhart to get some breakfast.
"So Squall What do you want to do today?" Rinoa Chirped happily
"Oh, I don't know I was planning on practicing with my gunblade in the training 
center today and..."
"Squall?! You'd rather practice with your gunblade than spend the day with me!? 
I mean c'mon! you've already earned the title saviour of the future what more do 
you want???"
"Well I was thinking of something more along the lines of saviour of the 
hotdogs. I'm starving!" Squall teased
"Sqaull your such a dunderhead!" Rinoa said playfully knocking him on the head.
As they past the training center Squall took a qiuck look at it from the corner 
of his eye. Then he glanced at Rinoa. He weighed the options silently in his 
head.
'Gunblade, Rinoa... Rinoa!'
	When they entered the cafeteria they found that Zell was already gorging 
himself on hotdogs.
"Hey Zell!" Rinoa yelled 
Zell turned his head in her direction.
"Have you eaten all the hotdogs already?"
"no way! I saved a couple for you guys! C'mon over!" Zell said motioning to two 
empty seats at his table.
Rinoa aand Squall reluctantly took the two seats on the Ketchup and wrapper 
strewn table next to Zell.
	Rinoa Gingerely picked up a hotdog and started to nibble on it.
"So what are you guys doing today?" Zell inquired through mouthfulls of hotdog.
"Well we don't really know..." Rinoa said
"Great then you come with to battle some T-rexuars!" Zell said excitedly
"Uh actually Rinoa and I were planning to ah, Go into Balamb for the day!" 
Sqaull stated hurriedly
"Aww that's to bad, Oh well have you two!" Zell picked up his large load of 
hotdog wrappers and dump them in the garbage, then ran off to the training 
center.
"Phew that was close" Squall breathed
"But, Sqaull I thought you wanted to train today?" Rinoa asked a bit confused
"No way! I would much rather spend the day with you!"
That's good" She said leaning on him
"Well let's go!" Squall said jumping up
"What? Go were?" Rinoa asked blankly
"Balamb of course!"
"We're really going!"
"Yup"
"YAY! Let's go!" Rinoa said jumpng up and dragging Squall out the door.

	"It's been so long since I've been to balamb!" Rinoa Squealed happily.
"Were should we go first?"
"Well I'm kinda hungry, How about to lunch?"
"OK sounds good, when zells there you never eat much anyway"
They both laughed as they walked down the streets of the tiny town.
	After about 5 minutes they came to a little coffee shop near the train 
station.
"This looks like a good place" said Squall
	They walked in and sat down at a little table near the back. A waiter came 
and gave them menus, they both ordered and he came back with the food.
"This is pretty good" Squall said
"Yeah we should come here more oft..."
BANG!!
"What the hell was that??" They both said in unision jumping up from the table 
and running outside. They saw a man (or what looked to be a man) completely 
dressed in black, with a black mask with a crooked croos near the top painted in 
red, or mabye that was blood? They couldn't tell from that distance. He was 
holding what looked to be a large sniper.

	Squall looked down and saw a river of blood flow by his feet. He looked up 
the street and saw 5 people lying on the street, blood all over each of thier 
bodies.
"What the hell do you think your doing?! Rinoa yelled at him
The man looked up in her direction and pointed the gun at her.
BANG!
She tried to dodge the bullet but wasn't fast enough. The bullet pierced her arm 
and sent her flying backward onto the pavement.
"NO!" Squall yelled
He rushed to her side and picked up her head. He looked down at her arm and saw 
the blood flowing freely onto his hands. He looked over at the man who still had 
the gun pointed were Rinoa was standing.
"YOU BASTARD!" Squall yelled charging at the man with his gunblade. He took a 
swing at the man and he seemed to vanish. He was no where in sight.
"Where are you!!??" Squall Screamed "Come out and fight me!"
He looked around menacingly, but a faint whimper caught his attention.
"Squall" Rinoa moaned "help me"
Sqaull ran back to her and easily picked her up.
"It'll be ok I'm gonna get you back to garden and you'll be fine" he whispered 
into her ear
"Uhh" She moaned "It hurts"
Squall ran her to the car rentall place and yelled at the person in the front 
desk.
"Gimme a car! NOW!"
The clerk glanced at Squall and then spotted the bloody Rinoa in his arms.
"You got it mister!" He said hurriedly and ran to the back to get a car for him.
He brought it around front and draped a sheet on the back seat in an attempt to 
save the seat.
	Squall gently placed the moaning Rinoa in the back seat.
The clerks attempts to keep the car blood free though were in vain, because 
Rinoa's blood soaked the cloth instantly.
	Squall Jumped into the car and hit the gas pedal as hard as he could. They 
went flying out of Balamb and into the grassy plains. 
	In about 2 minutes Squall reached the head of garden and accidently 
crashed into the stairs.
"ugh" Rinoa moaned as she was josteled about the back seat.
	Squall jumped out of the car, grabbed Rinoa and ran to the infirmary.

Dr. Kadowaki was sitting at her desk when squall burst into the room.
"Oh my goodness!" Kadowaki stated
Squall put Rinoa on a bed and Kadowaki Immediatly pulled out the bullet after 
Squall hurriedly explained what was wrong.
	Rinoa winced as Kadowaki pulled out the bullet and put some healing 
medicine on it and wrapped it in a bandage.
Squall Explained everything that had happened at balamb to kadawaki as she 
cleaned the blood off of Rinoa.
"You should go explain this to Cid!" Kadowaki exclaimed. Then she saw Squall 
glancing worriedly at Rinoa.
"All right I'll go. You stay here with Rinoa"Kadaowaki said and walked out of 
the infrimiry.
Squall took Rinoa's hand and squeezed it.
"Are you OK Rinoa?" He asked worriedly
"It hurts Squall" Rinoa said weakly
"It's ok everythings going to be fine, you should get some rest."
Rinoa smiled weakly at him as she slipped into unconciousness.

Well That's the first chapter of my story! I know it took a while before it 
started getting good, but don't worry the next chapter will be better!
