The second Chapter to the desperate feelings Saga.  All The Final Fantasy 8

And the new Character Dark One(or Sarri) Is my creation and YOU cannot have her

	In a dark dungeon somewere east of Esthar two men sat. One man, Dressed 
compltely in black with a Cross shaped scar near his head, and sandy hair, and a 
sniper on his back. The other man, Dark haired and wearing long robes of purple, 
a look of eternal hatred on his face. The dark hired man spoke:
"Dio, have you accomplished my mission?"
"No Master I could not find the one you call Dark one." The black clothed man 
replied.
"Did you eliminate all spectators?"
"Yes Master...All except for two"
The robed man spilled the glass of wine he was holding all over his robes.
"WHAT?! You let two insignifigant mortals cross you path? AND you let them 
live??" The man Shrieked , infuriated.
"Master controll yourself, I attempted to shoot one but only wounded her, The 
other attempted to attack me and I was forced to leave."
"Why did you not kill him? I have trined you well, have I not Dio?"
"No master! You misunderstand! The one who attacked me was none other than the 
defeater of ultimecia Squall Leonhart! I did not feel I had the strength to beat 
him at that moment..."
"Dio, my insignifigant little minion, did you not remember that I did not make 
immortal so that you could run away from your enemys!! Espeacilly if they are 
mortal! DO you hear me Dio?"
"Yes, my master"
"I will let you off the hook this time Dio, but one more mistake, and you will 
pay dearly"
As the robed one said that a pulse of energy shot through his hand, and Dio 
gulped, Though he was immortal he could still feel pain, His master had made it 
that way so that he could punish his servant in a fitting way...
"Now Dio go destroy the dark one, I will not have her ruining my plans yet 
another time, and Dio, Destroy Squall Leonhart."
Dio bowed and vaporized to continue his search of the earth, for the Dark One.

Rinoa Awoke The next morning Bleary eyed and sore. She wondered why she was in 
the infirmary and then she tried to get up and the pain came It pulsed in her 
arm like it was on fire. The memories of the other day came flooding back. 
The man in black the Bullet The pain. She looked over to Her left and saw squall 
Sleeping in a chair next to her bedside. The pain wasn't as bad as it had been 
the other night so she got out of bed, and looked at her clothes, They were full 
of blood so she drew the curtains around the bed and changed into a fresh pair 
of clothes. 
Finding That drying to get dressed with one hand was extremely difficult. She 
hopped around trying to get dressed and once she finally had her clothes on she 
walked up to Squall and shook him with her good hand.
"huh wha?" Squall stuttered groggily. "Oh my god Rinoa! You're OK!! I was so 
worried!" he hugged her tightley.
"Ow ow! Squall my arm!"
"Oh sorry Rinoa."
Kadowaki Came in at that moment.
"Rinoa your all right! I'm so glad" kadowaki sighed, quite relieved. "Well since 
your up you might as well leave! There's no use for you standing around here if 
your feeling good enough to walk around!"
"OK Thanks for helping me Dr."
"Oh my pleasure sweetie! and you should probably get a sling for that." She 
handed Rinoa a sling and helped her put it on.
"Thanks again" Rinoa called as she and Squall walked out of the infirmiry.
	Squall and Rinoa walked down the halls of Garden when quistis crashed into 
them.
"Oh thank god you OK Rinoa! I just heard about what happened and I was so 
worried!"
"I'm fine quistis really I am!"
"That's good" said Quistis "oh and Zell, Irvine and Selphie are looking for you, 
They're really worried too."
"OK" Thanks Quisitis
Rinoa and Squall walked all over Garden and eventually found Irvine, Zell and 
Selphie and reasured them that Rinoa was fine.
"oh boy that was annoying" Rinoa sighed
"oh yeah" Squall said
"Sqaull Leonhart and Rinoa Heartilly please report to Headmaster Cid's office 
immediately" the loudspeaker crackled.
"God what now" Squall complained as he got up slowly and walked over to the 
elevator and rode it up to cid's office.
"get ready for the worst Rinoa" Squall said as he stepped out of the elevatorand 
walked into Cid's office.
"squall, Rinoa so glad to see you! Now there's something very important I need 
to discuss with you. Kadowaki told me about the incident with the man on the 
street" He said glancing at Rinoa's arm. "and Squall considering
that you have a visual on the enemy I would like you to go and investigate 
balamb for me. and If no sign of him turns up I'd like you to recruit some SeeDs 
to search the world for him. Thes man Is Dangerous and he needs to be 
destroyed."
"Yes sir" Sqaull said saluting "Mission excepted"
As They turned to leave Rinoa Shouted out.
"Wait! I want to come too!
"I'm sorry Rinoa but this mission is dangerous and you've already been wounded. 
I'm afraid you can't accompany Squall this time"
Rinoa was about to counter but Squall pulled her aside.
"Rinoa you really should stay behind. I mean with your arm like that you can't 
even use your blaster edge. and if anything ever happened to you...I just die."
"All right Squall I'll stay behind this time, but ONLY untill my arm heals!"
You leave in the morning Squall" Cid said

	Dio walked silently through the night searching, watching, waiting. he had 
to find her he just had to.
He sat on the ground weary from travel.
"I will go to Balamb tommorow. If I am lucky I will find Squall Leonhart there"
He laughed. Not a laugh of joy, but a laugh of pure evil.
"I will destroy them both"
He grinned evily, and set his head down on the cold ground. He luaghed one more 
time, then drifted into a mercifull sleep.

	The next morning Squall woke up with the sun he gave his gunblade a quick 
buff and strode out of Garden. He walked to Balamb. Not feeling in the mood to 
drive. He had mixed feelings about this mission, he wanted to find that guy and 
rip his gut's out for hurting Rinoa,
but at the same time he was scared. I mean the guy just dissapeared without a 
trace.
	Squall entered the small town of Balamb and strode down the street. It was 
just after dawn and the town was just waking up and getting going. He watched 
the car rental shop open up and a man load friuts and vegatables onto a cart.
He continued to look for the masked marauder. Searching in alamays and store 
windows, but every time finding no trace of him.
	Near the end of Balamb when Squall was just about to give up he spotted a 
small black figure on top of a store roof. Like a hamk Squall climbed the fire 
escape and stealthly snuk up on his prey. When he reached the top he watched the 
man in black from behind a large crate. The man stood there watching the sun 
rise,
but Squall could not attack him yet, he had no proof that this was the right 
man. The masked figure slightly turned his head to look in the other direction 
and Squall saw it. A blood red cross near his left eye. That was it this was 
him, Squall leaped out from behind the box and charged silently at the man with 
his gunblade.
The man turned and Squall jumped, he slashed the mans chest and a large red gash 
protruded spilling blood. In a mad fury the man grabbed his sniper and pointed 
it straight at Squall's heart. Right when a was about to pull the trigger a girl 
jumped in the way of Squall and the gun. She looked Rinoa's hieght, about 5'3" 
from what 
Squall could see. She wore blue cargo pants, a light blue tank top,kind of like 
Rinoa's' Squall thought. Her Dirty blonde hair blew softly in the wind, tied 
back into a ponytail by a gem encrusted string and the ends dangled down her 
neck. A black katana was strapped to her waist and she wore runners shoe's. SHe 
turned her face to him and shouted
"MOVE!"
Her face was looked soft but her expression was harsh. As she said that Squall 
noticed a slash like scar near her right eye down the side of her nose.
	Squall leapt out of the way as a blast of pure energy shot out from her 
open palms. The masked figure flew of the roof and Squall rushed to the side of 
the building to see where he would land, but just as he was about to hit the 
ground the man vanished once again.
He turned to the girl, she had light blue eye's, they were like an abyss. She 
spoke.
"You could've been killed"
Her voice sounded like mist on your face.
"I'm a SeeD, SeeD's do not die." Squall stated blankly.
"Oh and by the way, My name's Sarri, more commonly known as Dark one"
She was very friendly once she was not fighting.
"I'm Squall Leonhart" Squall stated bluntly.
"The Saviour of the future" She said "The defeater of ultimecia"
"So I see you've heard of me" said Squall "But, that attack you used I've only 
seen Rinoa use that"
"Rinoa Heartilly, The sorceress?" sarri siad "You know her?"
"know her! She's my girlgriend!"
"well" Kia said quitely " The reason I can use that attack is because I AM a 
sorceress"
"Well I'm glad to meet you" squall said Shaking her hand enthusiasticaly "You 
should come back to garden with me, Rinoa would love to meet you!"
"Sure, I guess that would be OK. I have nowhere else to go."
The two walked out of Balamb and headed for Garden. Sarri told him the story of 
her life, how she never knew her parents and has been wandering the earth 
for as long as she can remember.
"how did you inherit your sorceress poweres?" Squall inquired
"I was born with them."She said
"That's very odd" Squall said "Sorceress's usually inherit thier powers from 
other sorceress's"
"Well, when I was 12 I discovered I had a very strong case of ESP. I could tell 
what was going to happen to people before it happened,
and I could sense the supernatural, even talk with them. I used to always freak 
out my friends by randomly telling them the exact color they were thinking of at 
any given moment." She laughed
"I miss those days."
"What happened after that?" Squall asked
"Well I thought I guessed that I was a witch, becuase I could feel heat in my 
hands, and I also enjoyed spell reading. I worked at my power and it got 
stronger, and after years of training I could finaly realease energy
from my hands and use any magic, without absorbing it."
"Sounds like a lot of work." Squall said awestruck
"Well it wa..Is this garden?" She said stopping at the large floating ship.
"yup" Squall said "C'mon let's go in" He siad taking her by the hand and 
dragging her in.
	As they passed through the main entrance hall Squall spotted Irvine. 
Irvine, spotting the unfamiliar girl at Squall's side immediatley shouted,
"Hey squall! Picked up another chic already? Rinoa's not gonna be happy.
"god Irvine" Squall said wearily "This girl saved my butt, she's a sorceress 
just like Rinoa and I want Rinoa to meet her."
"well whatever you say" Irvine said grinning
"c'mon let's go find Rinoa"

	Rinoa was sitting at a table in the Library bored as hell.
"God where is he!' she siad to herself "I'm getting so worried!"
	About 5 minuted later Squall burst through the door of the library.
Rinoa looked up from her table to see who had made the intrusion. Spotting 
Squall she immediately jumped, ran over to him adn hugged him one armedly. 
Squall hugged her back
being extra carefull not to squish her arm.
"Squall I'm so happy to see you! I was so worried! I thought you'd never 
comeback!"
"Well stop worrying I'm back!"
Rinoa glanced over his shoulder to see a girl standing behind Squall looking 
down at the floor.
Shw looked at her then looked at squall pouting.
"squall you didn't!"
"What?! Rinoa your taking this the wrong way, First of all this is Kia," 
Noticing Rinoa's envious looks at kia he hurriedly explained.
"No no! She's not my new girlfriend! She saved my butt in Balamb and She's a 
sorceress! So I thought you might like to meet her."
Rinoa sighed with relief "phew. you scared me Squall"
Rinoa walked up to Sarri and held out her hand.
"Hi I'm Rinoa glad to meet you"
Kia shook it thankfully, glad Rinoa wasn't taking it the wrong way.
Kia looked around her new surroundings.
'I think I'm gonna like it here in garden' she said to herself

well that was the second chapter of Desperate feelings. I'm still open for 
comments if anyone's got them.
Also I'd like some coments on waht you think of the new gal in town, Sarri!
