Now communications is becoming greater throughout the world. Men and Women have come to Timber to seek employment in this new founding industry. Others come to seek employment of a different kind. Throughout Timber’s history, it has housed many rebel factions fighting against Galbadia. Now the rebel factions have been more active since the destruction of the rebel group known as “The Forest Owls”. Frequently they would attack Galbadian supply convoys and areas with Timber, all this to give Timber its independence. But Galbadia was too large for one town to go against. Galbadia has surrounded the town, blocking all supplies to the rebel factions. The factions now with no food began to wither and eventually surrendered to Galbadia’s might. As the months past, more and more factions either surrendered or were destroyed to Galbadia’s army. The only resistance left is “The Forest Foxes”. Knowing that they were running out of options, they called for the help from the mercenary group known as SeeD. SeeD gladly offered their services in exchange that they would protect two of their members who at the time were in Timber. These were two SeeDs who went by name Morgan and Rose Faithchild. With them were their two children Seth who was two years old and Dawn who had only just turned one. The Forest Owls accepted these conditions and it was decided that two weeks from now that SeeD would send twenty members to come and evacuate the resistance and return them safely to Balamb Garden. For two weeks the Forest Foxes held out against Galbadia and looked after the two SeeDs Morgan and Rose. The two SeeDs also offered their services and participated in a number of raids on Galbadian outposts in Timber to slow down the mass army that was heading towards them. However Galbadia had already anticipated this and sent out a newly formed special unit into Timber. This unit had never been seen before; they did not even have a name. They were more skilled than any fighter and had the ability to shape shift into creatures that remarkably resembled Guardian Forces. This unit thwarted all raids and pushed back the rebels. All the Forest Foxes could do now was to abandon Timber and try to escape. The SeeD unit would arrive in twenty minutes but the Forest Foxes’ time was running out. ‘Sir we can’t take much more of this! We’re going to be wiped out!’ The soldier’s morale had dropped so low that he had begun pleading for surrender to the leader of the faction. ‘We can still surrender!’ ‘We will not surrender! We will wait for ten more minutes for the Seeds then we will evacuate.’ The leader now filled with anger starts taking out Galbadian solders around him. Five minutes before the SeeDs arrive, a cry from a rebel echoed through their ranks which they wished they didn’t hear. ‘The Special unit is here!’ ‘What?! They’re here already?! Everyone to the evacuation point! Now!’ Morgan runs out the door after hearing the shouting. ‘What is going on?!’ Morgan demanded. ‘The special units are here. We have to go to the evacuation point.’ The leader replied, keeping his calm. ‘Damn!’ Morgan runs into his the house, up the stairs and into the bedroom where Rose and his two children were waiting. Rose smiling at her children looks up at Morgan. Her smile begins to fade. ‘What is wrong my love?’ Rose asked in a concerning tone. ‘They’re here for our children.’ Morgan replies, his voice dying down as he finishes. ‘No! How could they of found us?!’ ‘I don’t know but we have to go!’ With that Morgan grabbed his sword Wishblade and led his family to the evacuation point. Rose carrying Dawn and holding Seth as ran with her, slowing her down. They left the house only to the remains of the Forest Foxes scattered across the path. Before they could take all it in they were quickly spotted by Galbadian solders. Morgan raises his sword. ‘Go! I’ll hold them off!’ Rose stalls but then agrees and begins to make her way with her children. Morgan takes out the solders quickly and begins to retreat back to his family. They make to the evacuation point but all is there is bodies everywhere. One body stood out the most, the Forest Foxes’ leader headless. Standing above him is a man in gold and silver armour. Rose looks stunned as he sees the man. ‘N-no! Stay away from my children!’ Rose shouts but the man ignores her shout. He then looks up at Morgan, raises his sword and charges him. The go into a battle, Morgan fights bravely but it out powered and out skilled by the man. Morgan’s guard breaks and leaves him open. The man shows no mercy and impales his sword into Morgan’s chest and pulls it back out. Morgan falls to the floor, his sword laying beside him. A tearful puts her daughter down and releases the grip from her son. She pulls out her sword Harmony and attacks the man in gold and silver armour. Like her husband, she fought vigorously but to no avail as the man kills her the same way as Morgan. Rose looks at Seth and then falls to the floor. Dawn begins to cry and Seth cannot move due to fear. The man walks up to Seth and points his sword and whispers ‘…brother’.
