This is the penultimate chapter of Alpha & Omega. I hope you all like it! Thanks! =) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The earth shook 3 or 4 times a day, the clouds and sky were red, and blood rain fell every day at 5:00 PM. There were constant tidal waves that killed many people around the world, the ground was starting to loss its fertility, enormous craters appeared were some of the towns of the world were, and a great amount of rare diseases started to appear, killing many people. Without a doubt, these were acts of the Weapons, considered by some Angels sent by God to slay humanking, and considered demons who needed to be slaughtered by others . 3 days had passed exactly from that terrible scene. Quistis, Squall, Rinoa, Aerith, and even Krelian had been affected or killed by the terrible Weapons. The end of the world was drawing near, and theres was nothing they could do about it. Only Zell, Selphie and Irvine were the only ones that could face the Weapons... "We can do it!" shouted Selphie. "They are 6 Weapons, and we are only 3," argued Irvine. "We canīt stay here doing nothing. They will destroy the world if we donīt do anything about it," said Zell. Our friends were in the bridge with Nida trying to think of a way to defeat the Weapons. Almost everything was lost, but Selphie and the others just couldnīt give up. "What if we wait for Squall, Rinoa and Quistis to help us?" asked Irvine. "We donīt know when they will be completely healed to fight. They are still struggling between life and death," said Selphie dissapointed. Suddenly, one of the scientist came running to the bridge frantically.... "What happened?" asked Zell. "Itīs Krelian! Somethings happening inside of the chamber were he is!" said the scientist very exaltated. "Go check it out guys, Iīll stay here," said Nida. Selphie and the others ran as fast as they could. They went into the infirmary and arrived to the chamber were the two pieces of Krelianīs body were. A red light was glowing from within Krelianīs body parts... "What is that light?" asked Irvine. "We donīt know what it is. But according to our monitors, its healing Krelian!" said the scientist. "How can that be???" asked Zell impatiently. "It seems that red light is healing Krelianīs skin tissue and rebuilding all his organs and producing his blood. This is a miracle!" said the scientist. "It ainīt a miracle! Itīs PHOENIX!!!!"said Selphie surprised. "I canīt believe it! So, Krelian still had a doubt that the Weapons might try to defeat him, so thats why he used a Phoenix Pinion before attacking us", said Irvine. "Yes. But, what if he still wants to conquer the world," asked Selphie. "He has lost all control over the Weapons, and has lost his staff, which gave him a lot of power; he now should have less power," said Irvine. "Then lets wait until he is fully healed," said Zell. Our friends waited outside the chamber, patiently for Krelian to recover. Krelianīs healing was slow and took 4 hrs to complete. "Healing complete!" shouted the scientist. "Open the chamber!" said Selphie. The door was opened slowly. Everything was quiet and Krelian didnīt give any signs of life. 5 minutes passed and no one talked or moved. Everyone was waiting for the moment Krelian opened his eyes and came out of the chamber... "Damn it took phoenix too long to heal me," said a voice from inside the chamber. "Come on out Krelian. We know you are in there," shouted Zell. ".........Before I do that...........Could you.....hmmm, throw me some clothes? Im kinda naked here?" said Krelian with humurous voice. Irvine went as fast as he could to buy some clothes. He had to spent some of his SeeD salary on it, but in some way, was happy about it. "Heheheh. You bought cloth exactly like yours," said Zell. "Yes. It was the only thing that came into my mind," said Irvine laughing. "Letīs give it to him now," said Selphie. Irvine put the clothes in the door of the chamber. Krelian took it and dressed. After 2 minutes, he came out... "Well, this clothes kinda sucks, but, better than nothing," said Krelian quiet dissapointed. "What did you just say??" shouted Irvine. "SHHH," shouted Zell. Krelian walked slowly towards Selphie. Irvine then took out his Exeter and pointed Krelian with it on the head. "Now, just donīt try anything stupid Krelian, or you will die," said Irvine angrily. "I donīt intend on doing something stupid now Irvine. We want to beat up the Weapons right? Letīs do it!" said Krelian. "Leave him alone; we need to talk first," said Selphie calming Irvine down. "Yes Krelian. Talk, why did u summon the Weapons?," asked Zell. "First of all, itīs not like im allying with you totally. I just want to show those Weapons who the boss is," said Krelian confidently. "Spill out the beans now Krelian," shouted Irvine. "Well, ill tell you the story of my life: I was born in a small village in the Cetra continent. I never saw my mother or father, but I only know that my father sent money to raise me in the village. I read lots of books there, especially about powerfull monsters and summoning. When I was 13, a strange woman came to the village. She said she wanted to see me. Everyone in the village sensed her evil energy and tried to defend me, but she was way too powerfull and most of them got badly hurt. She approached me and murmured "B Garden". Then she left some old book on the floor and dissapeared. I was so frightened, that I took all my belongings, including that old book and left the village. Days passed as I walked over the Cetra continent, trying to forget what had happened. I lived on the road for 3 years, and I didnīt touch the book. I was too afraid to read it; I thought it had some evil message. Soon after my 16 birthday, I learned there was a training place for students on the Cetra Continent, so I went there, and after some time, they accepted me. It was there were they taught me to be brave and strong. One day, I realized I had to read the book, and so I did. It talked about secret powers(summoning and sword skills) and in the last chapter, about the six Weapons, that if awakened, could grant his master the domination of the World. I was most concentrated on becoming stronger, so I started to learn to use(and seek) for the summons in the book, and also practice with my sword. When I finished learning all that was in the book, I analyzed the last chapter of the book. The fact that there existed almost immortal Weapons increased my curiosity and also my thirst for power. In the last page of the chapter, there was a small paper that said: Balamb Garden, the book of the Weapons. I wanted to gain that power, so I talked to my Headmaster, and arranged everything for me to go to Balamb. So the reason I cam to Balamb was to read the book. This is much it then, "said Krelian. "This is an amazing story. Do you remember something about the woman that left the book in your village," asked Selphie. "Not too much. The only thing I remember is that she had long black hair, and was very beautifull," said Krelian. "And your father...Do you know something?" asked Zell. "I only know his name," said Krelian. "What is it?" asked Irvine. "CID" said Krelian. Selphie, Irvine and Zell were in shock. They let Krelian leave for a walk, because they wanted to be alone to discuss the last thing Krelian said... "Did u hear him?? He said his fatherīs name was Cid," said Zell. "I heard. But could it be...?" said Irvine desperately. "Her mother had long black hair and was very beautifull..." said Selphie puzzled. "YEss. He could be Headmasterīs Cid and Edeaīs son," shouted Zell. "SHHH. Keep it down Zell, we donīt want to start any commotion," said Irvine. "Letīs try and not jump into conclusions. We better think of a way to help Squall and the others and also to defeat the Weapons," said Selphie. "If only Edea and Cid were here," said Zell sadly. "I bet they will come soon. There a big crisis going on and I know they will come back to help us," said Irvine confidently. Selphie and the others, although puzzled about the fact of Krelian being the son of the Headmaster, continued to think how they could help Squall and defeat the Weapons. Meanwhile, Krelian was walking through the fancy and elegant passages of Balamb. He stopped by the after curfew site where the students met. He sat there, deep in thought... "What have I done? My ambitions are leading to the destruction of the world, and Iīm here unable to do anything about it. I was the catalyst of the revival of the Weapons, and because of my evil intentions many people have been slaughtered. I ordered Emerald to kill Seifer, Quistis is stoned, Rinoa & Squall are fighting for their lives and....and.....Aerith is dead. I KILLED A GODDESS!!! I canīt forgive myself for doing this. Im suck a jerk! I...I..I...feel terribly sorry. SOMEONE TELL ME WHAT SHOULD I DOOOOOOOOO!," shouted Krelian. "Do what you know will save the world," said a voice from within Krelian. "WHAT? Who said it," asked Krelian confused. "Donīt you remember my voice Krelian," said the voice, which was a womanīs sweet and delicate voice. "TERRA!!" exclaimed Krelian. "You think GFīs dont have a mind of their own? We also can feel the feelings of our master, because we live within your body," said Terra. "Are you Terra and the other summons going to abandon me?" asked Krelian sadly. "Thatīs the last thing we would do. We want to help you Krelian," said Terra. "How?? Everythingīs lost," said Krelian dissapointed. "Thereīs still a way of defeating the Weapons. And you know it!" exclaimed the GF. "You donīt mean....?" said Krelian surprised. "Yes Krelian. You will have to use the Ultimate GF," said Terra. "I canīt do it. Did my GFīs agreed to do it," asked Krelian. "Yes. We will do it at your command," said Terra confidently. "You canīt sacrifice for something I did! I will be the one thatīll fix this mess," said Krelian. "You know this is the only way. With our power combined, we could be able to take at least 2 Weapons," said Terra. "I donīt know what to do. Please Terra, leave me alone...I need to think," said Krelian. This was incredible! All the GFīs Krelian had were ready to sacrifice themselves to save the world. The technique called "Ultimate GF" consisted in the fusion of all of someoneīs GFīs and usage into an enemy. This would create an extremely powerfull GF that could destroy anything, but the only drawback was.... "They will die after that if I do it," thought Krelian. Yes, this was like a KAMIKAZE attack. The GFīs need to use all their strenght in that attack, thereby sacrificing their lives. The day ended with a beautifull sunset and everyone tried to sleep. Selphie and the others couldnīt sleep because of all their worries and also Krelian had trouble sleeping. The next day, someoned knocked desperately Krelianīs chamber door. He woke up and opened it.... "Hurry up Krelian. Take a bath, and come to the entrance of Balamb Garden," said Zell very exaltated. "What is it you want me to see," asked Krelian. "Youīll see," said Zell. Krelian took a quick bath, put some clothes on(he bought some later, because he didnīt like the one Irvine got him) and went to Balamb Gardenīs entrance. When he arrived there, Selphie, Nida, Irvine and Zell were waiting for something... "There you are!" shouted Selphie. "Why did you make me come all the way here in such a hurry? asked Krelian. "We have a surprise for you," said Zell. "Make it quick then. This is no time for surprises," said Krelian. As soon as he finished his last quote, a car comming from Balamb town was seen on the horizon. The car, which had red painting and had the Balamb symbol on it, stopped right in front of our friends... Headmaster Cid and her wife, Edea, came out of the car, but there was someone that was shocked at... "SHE IS!!!! SHE IS!!!! HOW DARE YOU SHOW UP WITCH!!!" shouted Krelian while drawing his sword. "Donīt you dare hurt Edea Krelian," shouted Cid while he got in front of her wife to protect her. "Krelian please listen to me!" said Edea with a sweet low voice. "I wonīt listen to a murderer! Leave me alone!!!!" shouted Krelian running Back into the Garden. Krelian ran as fast as he could to avoid Edeaīs presence. He had tears in his eyes and was very confused... "Well, that was not the surprise we planned;" said Zell. "Thanks Zell, Selphie and you too Irvine. My poor Krelian has suffered a lot because of my actions," said Edea almost crying. "You were being controlled by Ultimecia back then. Itīs not your fault," said Cid trying to cheer her up. "Yes Edea. Donīt feel sorry about it. You still can repair what has been done," said Irvine. "Selphie, report to me what has happened so far please," said Headmaster Cid while hugging Edea. Selphie reported everything that had happened while Cidīs absence. He already knew that Krelian was the man who had revived the Weapons, but he didnīt know about the casualites. "So, Seifer, Squall, Rinoa, Quistis and Aerith had fallen in battle," said Cid sadly. "Itīs al my fault!," shouted Edea while crying again. "Heīs not evil anymore Edea," said Selphie. "Maybe if the Headmaster and his wife went to talk to him, he will understand what has happened," said Irvine. "Go talk to him and make him feel alive again," said Zell. As soon as they started to go in the Garden, the earth started to shake stronger than previous times....Waves started to become stronger and higher, and a shadow appeared from below the water... "EVERYONE HIDE SOMEWHERE, ITīS EMERALD WEAPON!!!!!" shouted Nida from the bridge. "Damn it! We need to get our weapons and GFīs to fight!" shouted Selphie. "Iīll get them. Please take care of the Headmaster and Edea in the meantime," said Zell. "You got it!," exclaimed Selphie. Meanwhile, in Krelianīs room..... "So you have come Emerald. Shall you be the first one to fall in my hands? I shall restore peace to the world!!" said Krelian confidently while he left his room to confront Emerald. Krelian ran as fast as he could to the Gardenīs entrance. Selphie and Irvine ran as fast as they could into the Garden with the Headmaster and Edea. They left them in Selphieīs room... "Please be carefull," said Edea kindly. "Thereīs nothing to worry about. I have Irvine by my side," said Selphie looking at Irvine. "Err...Yeah! Everythingīs under control," said Irvine kind of surprised at what Selphie said. "If you see Krelian, tell him to stay out of danger," pointed out Cid. "We will!!" shouted both Selphie and Irvine running to the Gardenīs entrance. As Krelian arrived at the entrance, he saw a tall, long haired person outside of the Garden.... "You are...President Laguna!!!!!" said Krelian surprised. "This ainīt time for introductions. We need to hold back this beast or Garden will be dust," said Laguna. "Attack the Weapon, while I take care of the healing," said a woman farther from where Laguna was. "Ms. Ellone??!" exclaimed Krelian even more surprised. "Come on Krelian! Letīs give him all we got!" shouted Laguna. Laguna and Krelian waited for the Weapon to show up. Selphie and the others arrived also on time, and got surprised to see Laguna and Ellone there, ready to fight. Finally the Weapon arose from within the deep waters of Balamb... "There he is!!! Unleash all your power!!!!!" shouted Laguna. Selphie summoned Cerberus to increase everyoneīs magic usage. Zell summoned Carbunkle to increase the magic resistance and Irvine summoned Golem to increase the physical defense. Ellone then casted regen on everyone. Laguna unleashed his "Desperado" limit break. The attack seemed to have no effect on the Weapon, that was apparently staring at Krelian... "Itīs your turn Krelian!!! Give him all you got," shouted Laguna. Krelian and Emerald stared at each other. Emerald was going to execute "Emerald shot" but.... "This is the end for you Emerald! You shall leave this world and return to hell!!" shouted Krelian ready to use a summon, but... Ruby Weapon arose from the ground and assaulted our friends from behind(Yes, a back attack!). The Weapon used some physical attacks on everyone except for Krelian... "Damn. I donīt know which Weapon to attack first. We are trapped!!," shouted Laguna. "Krelian watch out!!!!!!" shouted Ellone. Ruby used "QuickSand" on Krelian. He tried to escape from the quicksand with all his strenght, but the force of it was too powerfull, and he dissapeared...After Krelian dissapeared, Ruby left using the hole the quicksand made, but Emerald stayed... "DAMN YOU Ruby!!!!," shouted Laguna. "You will pay for this!!!," shouted Selphie also. "Wait!!!!!Emerald seems "unpowered" said Ellone while holding our friends from attacking. "Do you think heīs in Counter mode?? asked Zell. "If he is, donīt attack it, but if heīs not, we will be toast if heīs charging up some power," said Selphie. "To attack or to wait," said Irvine thinking. Suddenly, they heard someone running quickly towards the Weapon...It was Edea, crying, with a sword on her hand, ready to attack the Emerald Weapon... "DIEEEE MONSTER!!!!!! YOU MURDERERR!!!!!" shouted Edea as she approached Emerald to attack, but... An even powerfull earthquake began. Emerald left his "Counter mode" and seemed confused. Our friends were confused as well, and entered "defense mode" to prevent an attack of other Weapon. Suddenly, a huge white beam of light appeared from within the hole Krelian and Ruby dissapeared. The amount of energy felt was inmense and a strong voice was heard from below that said " NEO BAHAMUT". The earthquake stopped, and an inmense dragon a lot liked the bahamut appeared in the sky. He opened his wings and started to accumulate and amount of power the could destroy anything on his mouth. A huge chunk of land that included the hole Ruby did to kidnapp Krelian, separated from the land. As the piece of land arose slowly, our friends saw Krelian on top of something.... "Krelian!! Son!! You are alive!!" exclaimed Edea happily. "Do you think he summoned that GF?" asked Laguna. "HEY LOOK GUYS!!! Itīs RUBY!!" shouted Selphie. Our friends saw Ruby lying on the ground that was lifting to Neo Bahamutīs presence. Krelian was on top of him, as of showing that he could defeat any Weapon he wanted. Emerald saw Ruby down, and started to accumulate power to execute his "Air Taim Storm" on Krelian. Krelian saw this, and threw where our friends were. Zell caught it.... "Zell!! QUICK, summon that GF to keep Emerald busy!!!" shouted Krelian. "You got it!!! Letīs see, his name is..."CRUSADER," said Zell as he summoned him. Crusader is a summong of three powerfull knights. They launched their attack with their swords on Emerald. Because of this, Emerald had to cease his accumulation of energy, and defend from thr GF... "Good job Zell!! Now itīs time to get rid of Ruby... NEO BAHAMUT, I trust in you in slaying this terrible beast," said Krelian as he jumped from the rising piece of land to avoid being trapped in the attack. The piece of land finally reached the Neo Bahamut. Ruby tried to get up, and when he did, the second strongest Bahamut unleached all the power he had accumulated on his mouth onto the Weapon. The sky was so bright no one could open their eyes. Everyone could feel the inmense and powerfull attack Ruby was receiving. It was so strong, the piece of land completely dissapeared and....so did Ruby... "We did it!!! Neo Bahamut you are the best!" shouted Krelian as he reached land again. "Krelian, are you OK??" asked Laguna. "Yes!," confirmed Krelian. "Emerald is beating Crusader!" shouted Zell. "Try to bring him back!" ordered Krelian. It was too late. Emerald kicked their arses so hard they kissed the moons(anyone know this quote? Iīll give you a hint: Chrono Cross). Emerald then approached our friends slowly, but suddenly stop. Was the weapon hesitating? Well..no, a voice from the sky asked Emerald to come back. He dissapeared in just a second, leaving Laguna and the others doubting the reason why he was called back. "Who do you think called him back?" asked Ellone. "I think it was Alpha. He is the only one that have the authority over the other Weapons. ALpha must be planning something, heīs far from stupid," said Krelian. "Donīt worry about that! We defeated Ruby Weapon and thanks to Krelian!!" said Zell happily. "We did it Ellone!!" shouted Laguna while hugging Ellone. "We sure did, and thanks to Krelian!" said Ellone hugging Laguna back. "We better head back into the Garden, its getting dark already," said Irvine. "You go ahead, iīll stay here a little more time," said Krelian. Everyone but Krelian went into Balamb Garden. He started looking desperately for something near the remains of Ruby Weapon. Then, he took a pink like item and stored it in his pocket as he returned back into the Garden. He went into his room and used the item he found to create a potion he named: "The Desert Rose Potion" End of Chapter #7 ----->Donīt miss the conclusion of Alpha & Omega What will Krelian do with this new potion he created?
