Squall held Rinoa close, as though he was going to lose her........................ In the present, 17 years later........ Rinoa woke up with a splitting headache. Squall was slumped beside her. still holding her hand. Irvine, Selphie, Zell and Quistis were also slumped around her, also asleep. She heard another groan from Selphie as she sat up suddenly. She saw Rinoa and screamed with joy. That made the others wake up. Squall bumped his head on a cupboard as he saw Rinoa. "IT WORKED!!YES!!!" " What worked?" Rinoa said, puzzled. Squall tried to explain.... " Well, first of all, Rinoa, u are now 34, like all of us. We, have grown up. From 17 years to 34. U however, were sooooo distraught then that after u had ur sorceress lessons with Edea, u decided to seal ur self in Hynes necklace which Edea gave u. You continued to put a plague on the whole world except Esthar. You killed Selphies eldest child. All from the one necklace. Now, Edea has destroyed the necklace...................." Rinoa noticed Selphie was crying. A 5 year old was in her lap, fast asleep, and Irvine hugging her. " How........How could...I have done all that! But........I mean...." Squall nodded grimly. " U killed Chizma......... " Rinoa burst into tears. " Why...WHY cant I go back! I regret doing anything! Isn't there a way i can go back and stop myself?!?!?!" Irvine stood up. With tears in his own eyes, as did everyone else, he contradicted Rinoa. He walked over to her and knelt down beside her. " It isn't ur fault Chizmas dead", he whispered, " But do u think there's anything u can do 2 bring her back to life?" " Yes", Rinoa replied, "But ill need her body." " Its in da back room" Irvine whispered enthusiastically. " U need 2 come Irvy" " OK Rinny " Irvine and Rinoa disappeared into the back room. Then a side door burst open. In came a sexy 19 year old girl. She had long golden/brown hair, and blue eyes. She was wearing a white cloak that went down to her knees, and under that she was wearing a midnight blue mini skirt, long black boots that went up to her knees, and a sleeveless black top with red Chinese writing on it. Squall let out a low wolf whistle, but Quistis glared at him. " Uh.....Hi, my names Astral Howatt. I uh... need to ask u folks something. First of all, where the hell am I?" She attempted to walk over to Squall, but tripped over in the process. He caught her, and held her in his arms. he leant over and gave her a peck on the cheek. Selphie and Quistis were watching like tattle-tale-tits did. Then, a billow of smoke came out of the room that Rinoa and Irvine had just entered. Astral jumped off Squall and sat beside Selphie. Selphie started to fill Astral in on everything, including everyone's names when Selphie noticed a small shadow, no taller than an 11 year old girl, formed in the smoke. Then out walked....
