I'll give my mail addy later. Enjoy :D Part 1- Riona's Dreams It was a humid night. The wind blew in from a partly open window from Riona's dorm. Angelo lay on the floor near her bed, sleeping soundly. All of a sudden, she sat up straight in a cold sweat. She breathed heavilly. Angelo awoke and looked towards her. Rinoa was shaking. 'That's the third time I've had that dream...' She thought. She was shaking. She looked at the time. It was already 2:30 am. Although she was sweating and was freezing, she didn't feel well. She slowly got out of bed and looked through her medicine cabnit for a thermoniter. 102. 'I'll go to the Infirmatory in the morning...' She thought, and got back into bed. *** The next morning, Squall, Zell, Selphie, Quistis, and Irvine were in the Cafeteria, having breakfast. "Yo, Squall. Where's Rinoa? I haven't seen her all moring and it's already 11:30. She's usually up by now," Zell said, stuffing his face with more hotdogs. "I don't know. I'm gonna go to her dorm in a few minutes to see whats up..." Squall said. It turned out that Squall didn't have to do that, for Rinoa walked up to their table and sat down beside Squall a second later. "Hey Rinny!" Selphie said. "Heeeeyyyyy didn't you sleep well? You have bags under your eyes again!" "I slept fine. Just...still tired," Rinoa said, taking a piece of toast. This was kinda a lie. It was true she was tired, but she certainly hadn't sleep well. She wasn't about to go tell her about her dream though. Squall would just get worried, Selphie would get scared, Zell wouldn't know how to act around her, Irvine would be the same, and Quistis would just be suspicious of her. Rinoa put her toast down, suddenly losing her appitite. -Meanwhile- The dark castle was invisible to the eye, but the dark spirts were felt in body and soul. "My dear, dear knight. You'll be able to get the girl for me, will you not?" The sorceress from the past said softly but firmly. "Of course. I'll even be able to get rid of her pesky knight," the tall, black haired man said. "Of course you will. His name is Squall Leonheart, correct?" "Yes. He is quite powerful, and no doubt he will send some of his silly friends that are also in SeeD." "But we can both take care of them. You may do whatever you like, but I need that girl alive. So do not injure her," the evil sorceress continued. "I will put my plan into action in a few minutes. How about that silly Timber? I heard the girl comes from there..." "Yes, she does. I will go immeditly," The tall man said. "Go, my knight." --- "Hey Rinoa, are you alright?" Squall asked, concerened when Rinoa put her head on the table and shook violently. He lifted her face. "S-s-so c-c-c-cold..." She managed. Squall held her and she stopped shaking. "Zell, I'm taking her to the Infrimatory." "N-no...I'll b-be fine..." She muttered. Squall looked undecided. "R-really. Just h-help m-m-me back to my dormmm..." Rinoa said. Squall picked her up and started walking to Rinoa's dorm, Rinoa safely in his arms. The gang followed. "Should I get Dr?" Quistis asked. "She might be very ill." "If she worsens, we'll take her to the Infirmatory. I think it's from lack of sleep..." Squall said. Finally, they reached Rinoa's room. Squall put her softly on the bed. Again, she broke out in a sweat and was fast asleep, although not dreaming peaceful dreams. She had the nightmare again... ((This part is Rinoa's dream)) "Squall!" Rinoa screamed. She ran over to him, sobbing. "I should've died, not you! Please Squall, wake up..." The woman came over to her. "Rinoa, give me your powers. I will send you to Squall, and you can be with him forever. Although when you give me your powers, it is true you will die. But then you and Squall and be together forever..." ((End of her dream)) Rinoa opened her eyes. "Hey, you okay?" Squall asked. Rinoa was so relieved to see him she sat up and gave him a hug, not letting go. "Squall...promise me you'll never leave me..." "I promise...your my angel. I would never leave you..." Squall said smoothing her hair. She relaxed. "I think I should take you to the Dr..." Squall began. "No! I'm fine. I don't need any medical attention. I'm fine!" "Ok, ok!" Just then, Quistis walked in the room. "Squall, Headmaster Cid is sending you on a mission. Your to pick two people to come with you to Timber. Apparently there has been an outbreak of monsters in the city, and a very big monster that is going around killing people. Everybody else will follow later. Oh, hello Rinoa. How are you feeling?" "Fine, thanks. Squall, your taking me, right?" Rinoa asked. "I don't think I should. I mean, you haven't been feeling well and there is a lot of monsters..." Squall said uneasily. "Oh, come off it! I'm just fine, and I've been able to handle everything..." Rinoa said. After a lot of nagging, Squall finally agreed that she could come. Squall, Zell, and Rinoa left on the train to Timber. Finally, when they got there, they were in for a big suprise. The place was swarming with monsters. If they had had to classifly this outbreak, it would be Purple level. Purple in SeeD code was for "highly dangerous and difficult opperation". "Hey! You!" Yelled a man's voice. A second later, a tall, slim black haired man ran up to them. "I'd watch it around here...you are Squall, right?" He asked. "Yes. I'm Squall. We're SeeDs. We were called to help out in the situation. More SeeDs will be arriving shortly." "Great. I'm Derrik.The situation here is pretty bad. And you are...?" He said to Rinoa and Zell. "Rinoa Heartilly." Rinoa said, smiling at him. "Zell." Zell muttered. Further conversation was interupted by a large snake. As they fell into combat, Rinoa hit it with her powerful weapon. It fell to the ground. 'Hmmm...they are quite powerful...' Derrik thought to him self. 'This may prove to be a problem later on...I'll just keep em busy till the other SeeDs get here, and then the real action begins!' Well, thats the end of part one! Don't worry, there are many more other parts to come. What will happen? Is Derrik evil? Will something happen to one of the beloved characters?
