For the love of Ward

          "Dollet sure has changed since so long ago when we 
left," ward commented.  As the Ragnarok landed near the 
ocean next to Dollet ward sat thinking.   "Why have I been 
so alone for so long?".  "I'm a nice guy and all, right?".  
When the Ragnarok landed everybody else went ahead 
while ward walked slower than usual.  Kiros seemed to be 
the only person who had a feeling something was wrong.  
When Kiros asked what was wrong not to his surprise ward 
said,"nothing." Ward felt that everybody had somebody in 
the world but him. He felt very alone and lost."Why did I 
join the Galbadia army in the first place?". "What was I 
looking for?!". "LOVE?!". "Love doesn't exist for me." 
"TIMELESSNESS." "Thats all it is." "Thats all love is for 
me." As they walked into Dollet some of them walked off 
to grab a bite a eat while others went to the bar. Squall and 
Rinoa went out to eat. Irvine and Selphie sat on the steps, 
talking. They seemed to be hitting it off quite nicely. Zell 
went futher into Dollet to get some hotdogs while Quistis 
stayed with him to keep an eye on him. Laguna, Kiros, and 
Ward went to the bar. As they sat in the booth Laguna 
stayed staring at the piano, remembering his lost love. 
Kiros was looking to get drunk so he went up to the bar 
counter. Ward didn't want to stay there any longer. He left 
and started walking on the street, depressed. "Why can't I 
find anybody?". "Is it this hard for me to find someone to 
love, to care for?". 
         Just then a white feather came and landed in front of 
Ward. "What a beautiful feather" Ward thought. As he bent 
down to pick it up he bumped heads with this gorgeous 
woman."Oh, I'm sorry were you trying to grab that feather 
as well?". "Well, uhhhh, ummm" Ward mumbled. "You 
quite hansom" the woman laughed out. As they walked 
together down the street the woman asked,"Are you from 
Esthar?". "What makes you say that?". "Your wearing 
Esthar clothes" the woman laughed out once more. Ward 
was dumbfounded as the woman was quite beautiful. 
"Whats your name?" the woman asked. "Ward". "Well 
hello Ward!". "I'm Zoe". Ward smiled.
