New Allies

(This is my first fanfic, I started it after completing FF8 and I had nothing to 
do... i will add more detail soon.)
It is based after the conclusion of FF8; it also sees the return of the two 
dimwits Biggs and Wedge who joined a terrorist group to make ends meet...

Any new characters that Appear within the following story and are not in the FF8

Chapter 1

It was a normal day in the garden.
Zell was scoffing hotdogs with the girl from the library, Irvine was chatting up 
Selfie, Quistis was teaching her last class for the day and Squall and Rinoa 
were cuddling on the balcony watching the blue ocean zoom by.
All was calm.

Until a message came over the tannoy system.
"Squalls party please report to the training center."
It was an old mans voice about mid 30s with a strong but pleasant and cheerful 
voice, it was Cid.
"What the hell is going on?"
Shouted Zell as he ran from the cafeteria still scoffing hotdogs.
He looked like he was pissed, no wonder at it, his short encounters with the 
girl from the library every time being interrupted annoyed him more then girls 
flirting with Irvine.
"Training for the rescue mission to Esthar."
"What?"
"There are still a couple of monsters lurking around from the lunar cry event, I 
think Cid wants us to train our GFs a bit more so we can destroy them easily and 
meet up with Laguna."
The short walk to the training center was interrupted by the CC members 
challenging Squall to cards.
When the party reached the training center they were greeted by Cid and Edea.
"Good morning." 
Said Edea.
"Good morning m`am."
Replied everyone.
"Esthar is still over run by iron giants and elonyles from the lunar cry."
"Didn't we kill em all?"
Shouted Zell.
"Apparently they spawned a few seeds with buried them self's in the desert area 
out side of Esthar."
"Ok everyone check your GFs and junction your magic."
The green shrub of the training center hid all the monsters and finding them was 
as fun as destroying them.
After about an hour of training against the low level monsters Squall was 
getting bored and walked off leaving his team behind easily obliterating a 
Grendel.
"Wow look what I've found."
Shouted Squall.
Squall was standing face to face with a T-rexaur.
After twenty minutes of slashing and bashing against the T-rexaur Squall was 
starting to weaken and called his team in the help him.
"Must be hard if Squall can't beat him."
Joked Quistis.
RRRRRROOOOAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!
The team span around to see another 2 T-rexaurs.
"OH CRAP!"
"We have to get outta here we are too weak against three!"
 As the team turned around to run the three T-rexaurs span around knocking them 
all down with their tails.
"Our weapons!"
Cried Rinoa.
Indeed as Rinoa pointed out their weapons were lying a few meters behind the 
T-rexaurs.
Now they were pinned in the corner.
"NOOO!"
"Hold me Squall!"
Squall grabbed hold of Rinoa and pushed her behind him staring the T-Rexaurs in 
the face, Squall could smell their blood stained breath.
"Oh shit what the hell is going on!"
Shouted Irvine who was trying to call out Shiva.
"Where are our GFs?!"
Cried Selfie.
 The T-Rexaurs let out another Roar this time in harmony and closed in on the 
team.
Suddenly a bright blue and yellow flash and the sound of energy roaring through 
the air came from behind the huge T-rexaurs and a man about the same height and 
age of Zell with Brown spiky hair and a gun blade about the same type as Squalls 
jumped from behind the three T-rexaurs and started to unleash his limit break 
"MENTAL FURY" against all T-rexaurs rapidly slashing them both 6 times and 
jumping up hitting them again on their heads three more times and somersaulted 
back wards in front of the mammoth monsters and lifted his gun blade above his 
head while its color changed from silver to blue and sparks shot out clearly 
charging an enormous amount of energy the man again jumped up and span 360o and 
slammed his gun blade into the floor releasing all the energy in a wave of power 
knocking all the T-Rexaurs into the wall killing them without ease.
"Who the hell?"
Asked Zell half stunned and half happy to be alive.
Quistis's eyes shot over at the man who was holstering his gun blade onto his 
back.
Quistis walked over to the man and looked him in the eye.
"Hi."
"Hello."
"I'm Quistis I don't believe I've seen you here before."
Their talk was cut short by the binging sound of the tannoy.
"TRAINING PERIOD IS OVER WOULD SQUALLS PARTY PLEASE REPORT TO CID'S OFFICE."
"Will I see you again?"
Asked Quistis.
"I guarantee it."
The man dipped his head and turned towards the exit.
"Hey wait up man, we owe you a few hot dogs."
Insisted Zell.
"Sure mate."
Replied the man as everyone laughed at Zell and his craving for hotdogs.
The man ran away from Squall and his party running out of the training hall.
The 5 took the lift to Cid's office and found Edea and Cid waiting at the doors.
"Good your still alive!"
Said Edea jokingly.
"What's that supposed to mean?"
Asked Squall.
"Cid thought it was time you trained without GFs so he asked me to block them 
from the training hall but he forgot to tell you."
"We only just made it thanks to that man."
"Oh I see you met Neo Xavier."
"Is that his name?"
Asked quistis with open eyes.
"Yes he is from..."
"Trabia garden."
Said Neo, interrupting Cid in mid sentence.
Neo stepped into the room.
"Hi Neo!"
Said Quistis.
Neo Xavier nodded his head and winked at Quistis.
Everyone tutted and rolled their eyes back except for Neo and Quistis of course.
"After the Galbadians attacked Trabia garden I helped rebuild it, we only 
finished a couple of months ago."
"Wow you are from Trabia too?"
Asked Selphie.
"Yes."
"Any way."
Interrupted Cid trying to steer away from Selphie`s old garden (Because she 
would natter all day about it!).
"Neo Xavier is the new member of your party, please treat him with the utmost 
dignity and respect."
Said Edea.
"Oh we will."
Answered Quistis still staring at Neo.
"Laguna has asked for you to go back to Esthar to seek out and destroy the 
remaining monsters."
"We are going to meet Laguna Loire?"
Asked Neo jumping up and down.
"The message came through about an hour and a half ago so you better get going."

Chapter 2

Neo jumped into the Ragnarok's pilot seat and started the engines (The Ragnarok 
now being Balamb garden's symbol).
After about half an hour of flying east from the garden, which was repositioned 
to Balamb but still flew around due to students request, the Ragnarok reached 
Esthar and landed by the palace.
"Here take these."
"What are they?"
"That's Cactuar and Doomtrain junction them mate you might need them."
Said Irvine.
"Hi Laguna."
Everyone said in unison.
"Hello Squall, Rinoa, Zell, Selphie, Irvine, Quistis and I don't believe I know 
you?"
"I'm Neo Xavier."
"He saved us from two T-rexaurs."
"Well you saved my friends you're a friend of us too."
Laguna pointed to himself and to Kiros and Ward.

The 6 spent the day searching for monsters still alive months after the lunar 
cry event.
"So find any?"
Asked Laguna when they all returned to the city center.
"I'd say that was successful."
Said Rinoa.
"We got 4 grendels, 2 Malboro's, a couple of imps and some iron giants."
Said Neo.
"I'll scan the area with my powers."
Said Rinoa concentrating.
"Nope no monsters on this island let alone Esthar!"
"So where's Quistis?"
Asked Kiros.
"She's right..."
"Shit where is she?"
"Maybe she went back to the Ragnarok?"
Said Laguna.
"Don't think so?"
"Lets check, come on Neo."
Said Selphie.
Neo and Selphie walked back to the ragnarok while the others went back to the 
palace with Laguna and his men.
"I'll check the bridge."
Said Neo.
"I'll check down stairs."
Said Selphie.
Neo took the lift to the bridge and went in.
"Hello, Quistis?"
Neo's eyes scanned the bridge to see Quistis` long hair over the top of the 
pilots seat.
"Why are you in he..."
Neo was stopped in mid sentence by the feeling of a blunt object stuck to the 
back of his neck.
"This is a shotgun Mr Xavier, move and I'll blow your head off."
"Quistis?"
"We drugged the coffee machine."
"Sir who's this?"
His captor turned around Neo to see another man wearing a ski mask was holding 
Selphie.
"I knocked her out sir."
One of the men pulled off his ski mask.
"You!"

Chapter 3
THE GHA

"BIGGS AND WEDGE!"
"That's us!"
"BIGGS SHUT UP YOU IDIOT AND PUT YOUR DAMN MASK BACK ON!"
Neo remembered them from when Trabia was attacked by the Galbadians the men had 
now got rid of their Galbadian army uniforms and were wearing ski masks.
"Ohh ski masks very trendy going skiing, I hear the Shumi village has a good 
slope this time of year..."
"SHUT UP BOY."
Shouted Wedge punching Neo in the face.
"WE HAVE ORDERS SO WE ARE GOING TO MAKE YOUR LIFE A LIVING HELL."
Biggs pulled Neos gun blade out from its holster and hit him around the back of 
the neck with the handle knocking him out cold.

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

"NEO YOU BASTARD!"
Irvine pulled his shotgun out of his holster and had readily aimed it at Neo's 
head.
"Wha...what?"
Neo woke up and found he was lying next to Selphie with his arms around her.
When his sight improved he saw Selphie had nothing on except for her red silky 
underwear and bra that was unzipped, their clothes thrown around the bridge 
scattered everywhere.
"Hey she isn't half bad...err I mean."
Said Neo looking at her then at Irvine.
"WHAT THE HELL DID YOU DO?"
Shouted the angered Irvine as red as Selphie`s underwear.
"I...I?"
"We are back guys...WHAT THE HELL."
Shouted Zell when he saw what was going on.
"Squall get a gander at this."
Shouted Irvine.
Squall entered the room.
"What the hell."
"I...I!"
"We only left you 30 minutes ago."
Exclaimed Squall stunned.
"Get him to the Brig."
"It's not my fault it's them bastards."
"Don't call them bastards."
Zell gave Neo a blow to his stomach that knocked the wind out of him.
"No not them I meant."
Zell gave him another blow this time to his head knocking him out cold.

"NOT AGAIN!"
Neo thought to himself.

Neo came to in the brig, a small dark cold room that smelt of blood.
"What the hell is this?"
Neo looked down by the chair leg and saw a small white paper.
"Hmm?"
Neo picked up the paper and opened it.

It read: To Neo Xavier.
You deserve every bit you get.
Biggs and Wedge.
GHA

P.S watch out for the bomb under the bed!!

Neo dropped the note and dived under the bed.
Sure enough there was a small box with an LED screen counting down from 20 
seconds.
"SHIT, HELP ME!"
Neo screamed at the door.
"I'm not listening Neo you pervert...Quistis is going to be heart broken."
Answered Zell, the guard Squall posted out side the brig door.
"I'm missing the party in Esthar because of you, did you know Esthar has the 
best hot dogs!"
"Sod hot dogs I'm going to die."
"You will when Selphie wakes up!"
Neo picked up the bomb and the note and started kicking at the door.
"Hey hey calm down."
Neo stepped back and ran full throttle at the door.
"I'm going to give you 10 seconds to explain why..."
Said Zell as he opened the door.
Neo tried to stop but tripped up and slid out of the door with the bomb still in 
his hands.
"What the hell is that?!"
Shouted Zell staring at the bomb.
"Shit its too late."
Shouted Neo as the bomb counted down, 3 2 1 0 nothing.
"It was a dud!"
"Who did this?"
Asked Zell.
"You have got to listen to me Zell I did not do any thing to Selphie it was 
Biggs and Wedge they knocked me out and put us together... believe me if i liked 
Selphie she would of been mine fr...i`ll shut up."
Said Neo sensing that he had gone too far.
"BIGGS AND WEDGE!"
Shouted Zell clenching his hands.
"Yes look."
Neo picked up the note and showed it to Zell.
"It is them, what's GHA?"
"Zell why have you let Neo out."
Asked Irvine who had just returned from the party.
"It was not him it was Biggs and Wedge."
Irvine's face went red with rage.
"Those fools!"
By this time the rest of the team including Laguna had entered the Ragnarok's 
bridge.
"What the hell is going on here Zell?"
"Neo is innocent it turns out he was framed by none other than Biggs and Wedge."
"Look."
Said Neo as he pulled out another piece of paper from inside the fake bomb.
This time it read: 

Dear Squall and team.
We have Quistis.
Meet us with Laguna in the chocobo forest in Centra at sun set.
GHA

"What's GHA?"
Asked Squall.
"It is a large group of terroists, mostly from Galbadia but from some other 
regions too, they are widely known as the Galbadian Honour Army."
Replied Laguna
"They have been trying to over take the capital cities around the world looks 
like now they want Esthar."
"Why do they seem to know you Neo?"
Asked Rinoa.
Neo took a deep breath and stared out the window.
"About a year ago they tried to over run Trabia garden to use as a bargaining 
chip against the rest of the gardens."
"How do you know this?"
Asked Laguna.
"Because they asked me to join then."
Everyone stared at Neo Xavier.
"Did you?"
Asked Zell.
"No."
"Then why the long face?"
Asked Rinoa.
"My brother."
"What about him?"
Inquired Squall.
"He is their leader!"
"What how!?"
Shouted Irvine.
"He robbed a market place in Dollet once, he ran away injuring an old man he was 
exiled from Dollet that was when he met their leader, Fredrik Kroyskov from 
Galbadia."
"How did he get involved?"
"Fredrik was shot at the next day by Galbadian police forces, my brother saved 
his life by pushing him down to the floor and taking the bullet to the leg."
"So?"
Asked Laguna.
"Fredrik was proud of Adam and Adam asked if he could join the GHA but father 
said no so Adam killed my father and ran off to GHA.
Fredrik became ill the next day and my brother was put in charge until Fredrik 
was well again but a week later Fredrik died of a heart attack, the GHA elected 
him as their new leader, he asked me to join but I refused and moved to Balamb 
garden a couple of months ago for a new life style..."
"What now?"
Asked Laguna.
"Let me take your place at the trade tonight Laguna."

Chapter 4

The Ragnarok reached Centra at about 11:29 or so that was what the clock said 
above the command console.
The tall green trees covering most of the island was enough to hid the Ragnarok 
(And a whole army of terrorists.)
"Right they probably don't expect us to hand Laguna over straight so they must 
have a trap set up."
Said Zell walking down the exit ramp tightening his red steel tipped golves.
"Yes Squall your party will hand the fake Laguna over and probably spring the 
trap then the real Laguna and his party will come to the rescue."
Said Irvine.
"Well it's a plan."
Replied Squall.
"Right they should not be able to see you face while wearing this hat."
Said Irvine taking off his hat and putting it on Neos eyes.
The first party Rinoa, Zell, Squall and Irvine walked through the woods with Neo 
following closely behind.

"Shhh hear that?"
Asked Rinoa.
"HOLD IT RIGHT THERE."
A large group of men wearing red uniforms and black ski masks jumped from behind 
the trees holding shotguns all pointed at Squall and his party.
"Master was right... you should of left your friend to die...Men Grab Laguna we 
have another city to capture."
A small number of the men rushed forward and grabbed Neo knocking his hat off.
"This isn't Laguna Loire."
"NOW!"
Shouted Neo slicing at the men with his gun blade that he had hidden behind his 
back.
"What?"
There was a humming sound from behind the tall trees.
"What the hell?"
"LEEEEEETS GET IT ON BABY!"
Shouted Squall pulling out his gun blade.
The GHA troops were shouting one by one in confusion.
The humming turned to a whining and the great red ragnarok shot above the trees 
playing the loud triumphant music of "Laguna battle musique" which was the 
tradition when you flew it, and the exit ramp down with Laguna and his men 
standing on the edge each ready with their weapons who was safetly helped out by 
Selphie who was laying down cover fire from inside the Ragnarok`s cockpit.
"CHARRRRRRRRGE!"
Shouted the GHA troops as they ran towards Squall and his party.
Although outnumbered Squall and his party started to attack the GHA troops with 
aggression knocking them back.
"This is too easy."
Boasted Zell as he started his limit break combo; Booya followed by a mach kick 
closely followed by my final heaven knocking the first wave of the GHA troopers 
down.
Meanwhile Laguna and his were busy attacking the rear of the troopers.
"Now."
Shouted Laguna.
All three of Laguna`s men unleashed their limit breaks each one knocking down a 
wave of the enemy each.
There was a flash of green and yellow light in the sky and another group of GHA 
troopers ran from the bushes all in aura.
"What the hell."
Shouted Neo.
"There must be someone else here casting aura on their men."
Shouted Squall.
As he disembowelled another Trooper gutting him with the top edge if his gun 
blade.
"You hold `em off I'll go check it out."
Shouted Neo as he ran towards the troopers advancing towards him somersaulting 
over them.
As he reached the clearing he reloaded his gun blade and ducked behind a tree.
"So this is it then our last aura stone?"
"I'll take this one."
Said another man with the same gun blade as Squall and Neo, but with a gold 
lined edge by his side.
"Fathers gun blade."
Neo muttered.
"That must be..."
Neo walked away from the tree and saw the three men all armed.
"Adam!"
The man who appeared to be the leader span around and pulled his gun blade out 
of his holster.
"NEO!? Hello brother!"
"Where's Quistis?"
Shouted Neo.
"Oh lover girl?"
"You can quit now Adam before its too late and join us at Balamb garden."
"You want me to run away just like you did from Trabia Garden to that pitiful 
Balamb piece of shit, screw you."
"I'm not afraid of you any more I need vengeance for father."
"You know about father?!"
"Yes I know how you killed him to become the leader of that shite army."
Neo pulled up his gun blade to his eyes and stared Adam in the face.
"NO Neo."
Shouted Quistis, who had appeared from behind Adam.
"I can't let you do this...I...I love Adam."
Adam started to grin and lowered his weapon.
"See you have no friends even the women you thought loved you has turned against 
you."
Neo dropped his gun blade and fell to his knees.
"He makes me happy Neo much more than you cou...co...Yahhhhhhhhhh!!"
Quistis`s face froze, her mouth widened but nothing came out and she slumped to 
the floor.
"She is dead Neo see what you have done bringing her into this."
"Grrrrrrrr!"
Neo snatched his gun blade back up and ran towards Adam.
"No!"
Neo span around to see Zell and Squall, Adams face once again lit up and he 
started to grin.
"We can't let you do this Neo."
Said Zell
"See what I mean your comrades have screwed you again."
Laughed Adam.
"No we want revenge too!"
Replied Squall pointing at Biggs and Wedge.
"Go go GO!"
Shouted Adam pushing Biggs and Wedge forwards and stepping back behind a tree.
Squall, Zell, Irvine and Rinoa started off against Biggs, Wedge and another GHA 
captain.
Within minutes Biggs, Wedge and the GHA captain were down leaving only Neo to 
face Adam.
Meanwhile Laguna and his men were holding off the GHA army while Selphie was 
pumping the footsoldiers full of bullets from the Ragnarok and had already 
destroyed two of the GHA`s transport ships hidden behind the huge trees with the 
Ragnarok`s main laser.
"Its just me and you Adam."
Shouted Neo.
"Neo you are way to big for your own...."
In mid sentence Adam turned and fled.
"Hey you wimp."
Shouted Rinoa firing one single shot from her deadly angel wing slicing through 
a branch on the tree in front of Adam knocking him flat on his face.
"Thanks Rinoa."
Shouted Neo as he ran towards the fallen Adam Xavier.
"Oh shit Neo please don't hurt me we are family I surrender!"
Adam looked down at the muddy floor. 
"You wimp!"
Said Neo pointing the gun blade at Adams head with his finger on th trigger.
"You damned fool you think i would let you die yet...?"
Then suddenly with rapid reflexes Adam smashed Neo`s gun blade out of his hand 
with his foot.
"Remember dads rule never let your guard down."
Said Adam casting the last aura stone on himself.
With a golden flash Adam had unleashed his limit break "RENZO-SERVE" releasing 
10 balls of concentrated energy from his gun blade and batting them at Neo like 
a tennis racket knocking Neo back into a tree.
"You are defeated Neo."
As Neo`s eye sight straightened he locked onto Quistis limp but still beautiful 
body.
"BASTARD!"
"Here catch."
Shouted Kiros.
Throwing an aura stone to Neo.
"Thanks Kir."
Said Neo casting aura on himself.
By this time Biggs, Wedge and their companion were out cold so Squall and the 
rest could lend a hand to Laguna disposing of the rest of the GHA troopers.
"Your finished Adam surrender."
"Damn you all."
Shouted Adam after he spat in Neo's face.
Neo`s face flared, with his teeth clenched and his eyes red with anger he used 
his limit break "Mental Fury" knocking Adam down.
"Damn you all we are not finished yet..."
Spitted Adam lifting up a death stone ready to throw at Neo.
"Don't think so."
Said Zell as he ran at Adam and kicked the stone out of Adams hand.
"For you there is truly nowhere to go...EXCEPT HELL!"
Shouted Neo as he brought his gun blade down on to Adam's head, slicing through 
his Protect spell and more importantly through his thick skull, in an instant 
avenging his fathers death and bringing a terrorist organisation to a stand 
still.
"Damned Leigh parker."
Muttered Neo (As was the current insult for that time.)
Minutes after Adam was decapitated the GHA troopers called off the attack and 
retreated leaving the team in the clearing.
It was all silent with only a few GHA footsoldiers bodies to prove that the 
carnage happened.
"It was my fault."
Said Neo looking down at Quistis`s body on the floor by his legs.
"Wait she is still alive."
Said Rinoa holding her forehead.
"I sense it."
Neo picked up Quistis and ran into the ragnarok, which headed back to Balamb 
garden (To Doctor Kadawaki's infirmary to be precise.)

* * * * * * * * * *

"She is going to be okay."
Said the doctor.
"It was a mixture of possession spells and love potions the GHA must of brewed 
up, the cocktail would have been enough to kill her in another half an hour or 
so, lucky you guys got her here in time."
"Thanks to Selphie's piloting."
Said Irvine hugging Selphie.
"We worked together.'
Said Squall who was currently stroking Rinoa`s long black hair.
"Here we picked this up before we left."
Said Selphie holding out the golden lined gun blade.
"My fathers gun blade...Thank you Selph you know this old one was my brothers."
Said Neo staring at his old gun blade.
"Arrgh."
Shouted Neo as he pulled up his brothers gun blade and smashed it over his leg, 
now with a smile on his face he picked up his fathers gun blade and holstered 
it.
"Neo?"
Said Quistis coming to.
"Yes."
Said Neo touching her hand.
"I'm sorry what I said back there it just came out I couldn't control my self."
"Don't worry the doc will explain later...Just get some rest."
Said Neo as he kissed her.
