Loss of Me::The Summoners Heritage Geneva looked up into the sky, and saw the beatiful seagulls gracing the edge of the clouds, and the mist. She looked down towards the ground, and she saw her belly, as round as a horse. She was pregnant with her first child. Geneva always wanted a child, she thought that a child was the best blessing in the world, or so she thought. Some of the other mothers in Madain Sari had children and she loved them like family. She even had a name picked out a name for her child. "Sarah", after her mother who had died just one month before. Geneva, her husband Paul, and her father Dameon, lived in the village known as Madain Sari, the village of summoners. Along with her own family, three other familes lived in Madain Sari, and every family enjoyed the village. As Geneva went about her day, she did the usual things. She stopped by the other families to see how they were doing, she played with some of the smaller children of Madain Sari, and she also had to work with her magic skills, by sensing the Earth for imprisoned eidolons. With the power of the eidolons, the villagers knew that no one would dare set foot inside Madain Sari looking for a fight, because everyone else in the world knew that the summoners were not people to be reckoned with. As the current day went by, Geneva was working on painting pictures of new eidolons they had found on the Eidolon Wall, when the most exciting thing happened. One of the villagers had found a new eidolon, a powerful one at that. The villager that had found it could sense the tremendous power inside the stone. When Geneva looked into the stone, she saw an ancient image, a dragon. All of the villagers had seen it too. The villager that had found the eidolon simply said a few kind words, "I think we have found our eidolon for our newborn child." Geneva was very excited indeed. As she and Paul stepped forward, and held the stone for the first time, they both realized that this would be the guardian eidolon for their newborn baby girl. Sarah was born three days later. All of the villagers were so exited to hear the wonderful news. And in the christening ceremony at Midnight that night, Dameon, Sarah's grandfather, entrusted Sarah with the new eidolon, the King of Dragons, Bahamut. As Geneva looked upon her child with great satisfaction, she was proud to say that that was her daughter. Geneva walked toward her daughter gleaming with pride, and as she picked her up and held her in her arms, she could also feel the power of the eidolon that was now conceived into Sarah's soul. She started to think that maybe the eidolon was TOO strong for a newborn girl, and that the eidolon should have been used for someone who had more experience with summoning. But, the deed was done, and there was no way to take away Bahamut until her 16th birthday... As Sarah grew up, she herself admired Madain Sari very much. She was brought up the way of the summoner, and she was told all of the old legends of the eidolons, including the legend of the Great Gyne. Sarah was always excited to know that unlike ordinary children, she could summon monsters against her enemies. She loved it. As she grew, she found new eidolons buried within the earth. She herself found Shiva, Ifrit, Atomos, and Odin. All of the villagers could see the strength within this little girl. She had been a child unlike any other, for no other child at her age had found so many eidolons. Geneva worried that Sarah might obtain too many eidolons, and in doing so might corrupt Sarah's own soul, but she had to let nature take its course. It was the way of the summoner that once a person found an eidolon, that eidolon would be conceived into the founder's soul, unless a newborn child needed a guardian eidolon, then the eidolon that had been found would be given to the newborn. Sarah was a kind little girl. By the age of 9, she became even more curious about her lifestyle as a summoner. She wondered why she had a horn. She wondered why eidolons were called eidolons. She wondered why no one but the summoners could summon. She wondered many things. Geneva knew that no one had most of these answers. All she knew were legends. She didnt even know if the very legends she told were true. Even Dameon, the oldest of all the villagers, didnt know if any of the legends were true. Still, all of the legends of the village were told to Sarah, and Sarah believed them, but she often became mind-blurred and confused. By the age of 10, her soul had so many eidolons, and because so much information had been crammed into her head, she became mentally ill. The villagers caused quite a ruckus over this, and because of it, all the summoners could do was pray to the heavens. Geneva, Paul, and Dameon were completely worried for their little girl. Even through all of the worryness, one of the villagers became pregnant. Despite the uncurable illness in Sarah, the villagers started searching for a guardian eidolon. While Geneva stayed with Sarah, everyone else searched for a guardian eidolon beneath the soil. But trouble soon came up again. The villagers started to worry, because nobody could sense an eidolon's soul anywhere near Madain Sari. If the newborn child was not born with a guardian eidolon, nobody knew what would happen, but they were sure that it would be something terrible. The summoners all became tense, and wondered if this was all some kind of bad omen for the future. Every day, all day, the summoners prayed for Sarah while also searching for a guardian eidolon. So far it was all unsuccessful. Geneva constantly was casting the spell Panacea on Sarah, all the time, but to no avail. Geneva started to wonder if Sarah would ever be cured....Only time would tell. This was a horrible time for the summoners, and summoners were seriously considering the thought of a horrible event happening in the near future. As Sarah continued to be ill every day, and the summoners desperately searched for a guardian eidolon, hope grew weary. Now all the summoners could do was wait...and hope that their sorrows would be healed and Madain Sari would become peaceful again. And so ends Loss of Me::The Summoners Heritage!
