You may already know all of these, but if you don't, well it was worth reading. If it wasn't, then don't just sit there, email me and add your secret hint to this list, and all will be happy. ================================================================== 1) The Cursed Ring ================================================================== First of all, you're probably saying, what the hell is that? The Cursed Ring pumps up all of that person's stats, but the catch is it casts Death Sentence on that person. But fear not! Simply apply the Destruct Materia with the Added effect Materia in your Armor, not your weapon, your ARMOR!!! Now, to get the cursed ring: -Go to Mideel with Tifa ( or before Mideel is destroyed...) and go to the shop on the right hand side of the screen. -There is some kind of Door and try to open it. You won't be able so give it up. -Go across the little bridge that seperates the shop and another cabin, do not go in, simply go to the upper side of it until you hear a funny noise. Hit the action key and pick up a small key. -Go back into the shop and try to open the door, you won't be able and you'll break the key. -The owner of the shop will ask you what happened, tell him the truth and he will give you the Cursed ring. WHAT YOU CAN TRY: You can try this but I don't know if it works because I don't feel like starting a new game. Take the key and do not use it in the shop. Instead go to Kalm and use it on the locked box in one of the houses. I don't know what will happen, but if you know and tried, please inform me. (Email at top of page, you will get credit) ================================================================== 2) DOUBLE YOUR ITEMS TRICK ================================================================== If you don't know this cheat, it's because it's the first time you look for stuff on FF7 on the net. First of all, equip the W-Item Materia to a character, then in battle, choose and Item, and you will have the option of choosing another one. Then choose another one, like an X-Potion, but don't use it. Press cancel, then enter, then cancel, then enter, until, you have the desired amount of Items as pleased. ================================================================== 3) FINAL LIMIT BREAKS ================================================================== CLOUD'S Omnislash (Disk 2,3, possibly 1?) Available in the gold saucer at the Battle arena, you need alot of points though. You'll need 32000 battle points. ================================================================== TIFA's Final Heaven (End of Disk 2, 3) Go to Tifa's room and play the Piano. You'll notice it's the world map song, like you care... X - Square - Triangle,- R1+Triangle - R1+Square - X - Square - Triangle - R1+X - O - X - Square - X ================================================================== BARRET's Catastrophe (After saving Corel) Go to a cabin in Corel with a woman, a man and a child. She will give it to you. Simple as that. ================================================================== AERIS's final limit (1 disc, duh...) First of all, you must do this while Aeris is alive because for some strange reason it won't work otherwhise. Take your Buggy to Costa Del Sol and go to the ship to hitch a ride to Junon. Go to a rive east of Junon and cross it, there will be a place called: Mythril Mine. Go see the guy, he should be sleeping. Talk to him, chances are he'll ignore you, if the two last numbers in the amount of battles you've had are the same, he'll give you stuff. Eventually he'll give you Mythril, go back across to Costa Del Sol and ride South, and east of Gongaga village. There is a small house there, go inside and the guy will ask for Mythril, so give some, and he'll let you pick a box. Choose the small box at the top of the stairs. And you'll get Aeris' final Limit Break! Yeah ok I forgot what it's called, How discraceful.... ================================================================== RED XIII's Cosmo Memory (Disk 1) This is also the way to get Vincent. Go to the Shinra mansion, and go to the safe. The combination is: ->36, <-10, ->59, ->97 You'll fight some cheap boss, get the key, and Cosmo memory. ================================================================== YUFFIE's All Creation (Disk 1,2,3) Go to the Podaga at Wu-Tai and make Yuffie fight her dad. Also you might want to equip an Enemy Skill materia without Trine, because you can get it here. ================================================================== VINCENT's final limit Break (Disk 3) Take the submarine to the crater and waterfall west of Corel with Vincen in your party. ON THE 2nd DISC... Walk into the waterfall. There's a boring little scene, then on disc 3 go back and g o to where Lucrecia was. There will be Vincent's limit break and his ultimate weapon. ================================================================== CID's final limit Break (Disk 2,3) Take the submarine across Junon to Costa Del Sol, go south a bit, and go right next to the desert and submerge your submarine. There will be a crashed plane, go inside and there will be a room with a broken helicopter. Cid's limit Break is in there, near a box. Don't forget, go near the Helicopter and get Hades materia. ================================================================== CAIT SITH's final limit Break (Disk 1,2,3?) Ok you're probably saying, you're full of it fatso! No I'm not, so sit down and read this. Get his first two, then kill 954 enemies with Cait Sith. And his third will come like a glitch. To know how many enemies a certain character has killed, go to the norh, and fight a Tonberry, he'll use Everyone's grudge. If it inflicts 4300 damage on Cait sith, it means he killed 430 people. I never actually got his third limit break, because I don't care. I find Cait Sith annoying. ================================================================== 4) KEEP AERIS ALIVE? ================================================================== Sorry, it can't be done. Here's a message from Squaresoft saying so, from the Squaresoft site. No. It is not possible to have Aeris rejoin your party after her death, or even prevent her death, in the U.S., Japanese and PC versions of Final Fantasy VII. This is a false rumor that was started a long time ago by somebody on the Internet. :-( I've read three different methods on how to keep Aeris and each of them where dead wrong, I didn't even try one of them, why? Because they claim that the mfv's are different, which is not true because I have the PC and PSX versions of FF7, and the PC version has a folder with all the movies, and you can view them all, and no new movies... But who wants to keep Aeris alive when you can keep Tifa? :-) ================================================================== 5) GET MASTER MATERIA WITHOUT KILLING EMERALD (Disc 2,3) ================================================================== Yes it can be done. But it's more tedious. Master every Materia either Green or Red, for the yellow you don't need to master Enemy skill, double cut, slash all, or the W magics. When you have mastered each materia, keep the "born" ones, then go to Cosmo Canyon and to the Huge materias at Bugenhagens's cabin, it will exchange all your mastered ones for a Master Materia. It's not worth it unless you have three of each like me. Yeah, I have at least three of each, I don't know wheather it's a proud accomplishment or a cry for help... Oh well, try it, it's cool. ================================================================== 6) GET A BUNCH OF RIBBONS ================================================================== This is a pain in the ass. Go to the northern crater and fight a Tonberry. Attack him enough but don't kill him, then morph him, then mime the morph until he dies. Try putting him to sleep, or Stop him because he's a killer. Anyways, you'll get a magically fantastical Ribbon from him and that's a good thing. ================================================================== (NEW STUFF) ================================================================== POWER UPS ================================================================== Are your characters weaklings with low stats? Well fear not! Because there's a place where you can get INFINITE power ups mind you it's time consumming. Go to the sunken ship (or plane) and EVERY enemy there can be morphed into a Power up. Either a Speed +, or a Power +. So here's what you need: 3 Ribbons (2 is ok) Gravaty Materia equiped with All Mega All Materia and Morph. 2 Mime materias Now go into Battle, cast Demi 3 on all the Characters, do it two or three times with Mime, then morph them. And there you go. But you'll notice that only one enemy doesn't get hurt by Demi. So try not to kill him at once. You also might want to steal from the enemies here because they have good armor. ================================================================== TETRA ELEMENTAL ================================================================== Go south of the Map, (South of Gongaga) and land on the uncharted Cactuar Island. Fight him and Morph him and you'll get a TETRA ELEMENTAL, you can only get this here and there is one in the Northern Crater. The Tetra Elemental will make you Absorb each of the Elemental spells. ================================================================== GO ON A DATE WITH YUFFIE ================================================================== Can it be done? Of course, and you can also date Barret, but no one wants to because that's simply frightning. -First of all, be mean to Aeris and Tifa, and not to Yuffie. Don't let Tifa or Aeris in your Party, -When Tifa offers you a drink, don't take it. -At the Number 5 Reactor, say "I can't hold on much longer" -When you first meet Aeris, tell her she was the Slum Drunk. -When Cloud is chosen by Don Corneo, lead him to "almost" kiss him. -When Cloud talks about five years ago, tell everyone you found orthopedic underwear in her dresser, and tell them it's true. -Get Yuffie and keep her in your party. You'll have to say these: "not interested" "petrified" "wait a second" "that's right" "let's hurry on" -On the Boat, give Yuffie a tranquilizer. -In the Gold Saucer (before you get Cait Sith), when you have to chose someone to go with you, choose Yuffie. -When you go fight on the boat, don't choose Yuffie because she doesn't want ot go. -Whenever you get to talk to party members, talk to her first and Tifa and Aeris last or not at all. -Get the 10 Phoenix downs from the birds and Yuffie will like you. Now when you go to the Gold Saucer, and after you fight in the battle for the owner, Yuffie will ask you on a date, instead of Aeris or Tifa. ================================================================== THE ROCKET COMBINATION ================================================================== In the Rocket, when your in Outer space, you'll need to get the Huge Materia if you want Bahamut Zero. The combination is Circle, Square, X, X. ================================================================== TURTLE'S PARADISE POSTERS ================================================================== Flyer 1:Just Before Aeris' house, there's another cheap little house, go inside and go up the stairs, it should be in the stairway. Also there is a sick kid who has a secret stash of money, don't take it from him, he'll reward you later. And besides, taking money from kids just ain't cool man! Flyer 2:In the Shinra Building, there is a billboard full of paper and it should be on there. (1st floor) And make sure you look at it because the only other time you can is on disc 2 during the raid. Flyer 3:In the Gold Saucer, there is a scary motel and in that scary motel there is a scary piece of paper. Read that scary piece of scary paper. It's a scary flyer. Flyer 4:In Cosmo Canyon, there is a Weaponshop, it's on the post. Flyer 5:In Cosmo Canyon, (again?), there is an Inn. (The one that Aeris and Tifa are talking to each other in before going into the Gi Caves) On the second Floor there is a poster you can't miss it. Flyer 6:In Yuffie's House, on the wall of the exit of the room she traps you in. Now that you've found all the flyers, it's time to claim what you deserve, go to the Bar in Wu-Tai and talk to the owner. ================================================================== Do you have something you want to add?
