Good Luck. ================================================================== GREEN MATERIA (MAGIC) O=O O=O O=O O=O O=O O=O O=O O=O ================================================================== -Lightning: -You get this at the begining. -You can buy it almost anywhere. -Ice: -You also get this at the begining. -You can buy it almost anywhere. -Fire: -You can buy it in the slums after the first mission with the reactor, or get it from Red XIII when he joins you. -You can buy it almost anywhere. -Poison: -In the Shinra Mansion, near the Jenova Pod, there is a save Point and a box, it's in the box. -You can buy it almost anywhere. -Earth: -You can buy it in the Magic Shop in Kalm. -Heal: -You can buy it in the Magic Shop in Kalm. -Revive: -You can buy it in the Magic Shop in Junon, past the elevator. -Seal: -You can buy it in the Magic Shop in Junon, past the elevator. -Restore: -When you go to blow up the first reactor, it's there. (Even if you don't use it master it anyway so you can get Master Magic) -Barrier: -In the Rocket town Magic Shop. -Contain: -Buy the best greens at the chocobo ranch, go to Mideel and go see the tiny chocobo that's following the lady, give it some greens and rub behind it's ears, nowhere else and you'll get contain. -Comet: -Go to the forgoten city, (where Aeris Dies) and it's in one of the houses. It's there and it's green, so you can't miss it. -Full Cure: -Go to Cosmo Canyon (the second or third disc) and go to one of the shops. The ribbon that blocked you from going further is gone, so go in and around and you'll find the Full cure materia. -Ultima: -Some kid gives it to you after stopping the train at North Corel, so you can't not have it. -Shield: -In the northern crater, when you have to split your teams go left, up and there is a little place (Should look like a swamp) and you'll find Shield there. -Master Magic: -Beat Emerald Weapon and some guy in Kalm will give three Master Materias to you. Master Magic is one of them -Or, master each 21 green materias, go to Cosmo Canyon, and go to Bugenhagens' house (nice name) and go to one the Huge Materias and you can exchange them for a Master Magic. You can do this as many times as you want. ================================================================== YELLOW MATERIA (COMMAND) O=O O=O O=O O=O O=O O=O O=O O=O ================================================================== -Steal: -In the sewer after Beating that pig thing. -Sense: -In the Playground after the Pillar's explosion. -Or, in the cell that Red XIII and Aeris were in, in the Shinra Building. -Enemy Skill: -On the 68th Floor in the Shinra Building. -The Chocobo in Chocobo's Sages' House. -In one of the houses in the Forgotten City. -Go to Junon, there is a place where you go underground it's like a tutorial. There's one there. Here's a list of the Enemy Skills and the enemies that possess them. -Beta: a fire magic that the Midgar Zolom uses on you. -Trine: From materia keeper in Nibleheim mountains, or from Yuffie's Dad in Wu-tai. -L4 Suicide: from Mu near the Chocobo ranch, or from the same kind of enemy a bit north of it. -White Wind: From Zemelzett near Junon. Other enemies have it, but cannot be manipulated. -Magic Hammer: From little weed things in the grassy parts of Wu-Tai. -Death Sentence: From the witch things in the Gi Cave, or from the BoundFats in the area in between the sleeping forest and the forgotten City. -Big Guard: From Beachplugs on the beach near Costa Del Sol, morph them too.;-) -Magic Breath: In the Northern Cave (cave not crater), there is a big enemy that looks like a big, red crab, he'll cast it on you, be careful. -Death Force: From the Adamanteai, on the beaches near Wu- Tai. It's a big turtle. -Angel Whisper: In the Northern Crater, when you split, go to the left and there should be a green lady, manipulate her and get it. -Roulette: In the Norhern Crater, go to the left where your team splits and the card flipping enemy will cast it on you, you cannot manipulate him. -Pandora's Box: The Dragon Zombie gives this one, he's in the northern crater. If he doesn't give it, I don't know what's wrong, that bitch won't give it to me. -Dark Flare: Omega Weapon casts it on you before he dies, so be prepared, cast Big Guard on your party, and give your party members armor with high magic defense. They're in the Northern Crater or the exterior of the Northern Mountains. -Dragon Force: From the Dark Dragons in the Northern crater, manipulate one, they also usually have other enemy skills. You'll notice other Dragons do this earlier in the game but you can't manipulate those. -L5 Death: In the northern crater, the floatin enemies you fight all the time have it. Just make sure your party members are not at a level multiple of 5. -Matra Magic: When you first leave Midgar, there will be machine-like enemies, they will cast it on you. Or just before Barret fights Dyne, the enemies in the junk pile give it to you. -Laser: Just before fighting Dyne, a Spider-like creature must be manipulated and he will give it to you. Or get it from the Dark Dragons in the northern crater. -Flame Thrower: After the Midgar Zolom swamp, go in the cave, a pathetic excuse for a dragon will cast it on you. -Frog Song: You won't beleive it, a frog gives it to you, just manipulate him and cast it. -Goblin Punch: Go the the far eastern, far northern part of the map, and there will be a small Island and there are Goblins with Zeio nuts, they give you Goblin Punch. -Aqualung: When you have the buggy, drive around in the desert and you should fight this wierd enemy, he'll cast it on you. Be careful though. Or get it from Jenova right after Aeris dies, Or get it from the floating snake-like creatures from the sunken ship. -Mime: -In a Cave near Wu-Tai, to access it you will need a green chocobo. -Double Cut: -In the sunken ship, the first room, under the grid floor. -Slash All: -Go to the Ancient Forest and one of the fly traps has it. -W Item: -In the subway of Midgar (2nd disc), keep going down until there's nothing left. There it is. -W Magic: -In the Northern Crater, there's a screen with a forest type greenery at the top and a light at the bottom. On the top there's W Magic. -W Summon: -In the Battle arena, get 64000 BP. To get fast BP, try to get the five materia handicap during battle and avoid the cure handicap or the lucky 7 handicap. -Deathblow: -You'll find it in Gongaga village, it's just sitting there. -Throw: -It comes along with Yuffie, the snotty thief. -Manipulate: -When Cait Sith joins you, he has it. -Morph: -In the temple of the ancients, at the part where the big rocks roll. If you miss it don't worry, you're bound to find another. -Counter: -In the Northern Crater. -Counter Magic: -You win it in the Chocobo races. -HP Absorb: -In Wu-Tai there's a house full of cats, after a while, you can get past a certain cat, go up the stairs and get it. -MP Absorb: -In the chest in the shop in Wu-Tai. -Quadra Magic: -Get the Blue Chocobo, go east of Mideel and go in the cave. -Added Cut: -While running around at the base of the mountains after snowboardning, keep pressing enter, you'll find it. -Steal as well: -Use the Leviathan Scales you found in the under- water area in the cave in the Wu-Tai mountains to put out the fire. -Final Attack: -Beat the Black chocobo in the race I think ten times, or win it in the chocobo race. -MP Turbo: -In the Whirlwind Maze. -Sneak Attack: -Get it from the Battle Arena. ================================================================== PURPLE MATERIA (INDEPENDANT) O=O O=O O=O O=O O=O O=O ================================================================== -HP Plus: -In the Materia Shop in Cosmo Canyon. -MP Plus: -In the Materia Shop in Cosmo Canyon. -Magic Plus: -In the Northern CAVE, at the bottom of a ladder. -EXP Plus: -When you get a buch of GP, and exchange it with the girl at the Gold Saucer in the arcade part. -Gil Plus: -Same way you get EXP Plus. -Underwater: -Morph a "Sunken ship" enemy in Junon's under water facility. And give the guidebook you get to the old man in Kalm. This Materia allows you to fight Emerald Weapon. -Cover: -In Aeris' Garden, near her house. (not the church) -Mega all: -In the northern crater, there is a ledge, a stub, then another ledge, on the stump there's an orb. When you jump on the orb, hit enter and nothing else to pick it up.
