Added all the exact way of completing the PuPu side quest. ------------------ 3. PuPu Side Quest ------------------ Before doing this quest, you would need to do/have some things: Needed Requirements: - You must have Ragnarok to complete this side quest Optional Requirements: - Encounter-None (Enc-None), if you would not like to encounter enemies when you are doing this quest. - 5 Elixers, if you choose choice 1 and want to get PuPu's Card. :: Meeting the UFOs :: Firstly, you are supposed to have an encounter with 4 UFOs before you can complete this side quest. To meet the UFOs all you have to do is run around the particular area stated. You will then have the battle screen shown, but you do not have to fight them. All you see is the UFOs carrying something strange. (NOTE: You can use your menu to check your current location) Meeting the UFO's must be done in this manner: The first area is at Winhill Bluffs, which is the area around Winhill. Winhill can be found at the most southern part of Galbadia continent. You can view the first UFO of this side quest the moment you can control Balamb Garden (moving it around). The second area is located at Mandy Beach, a shore near Timber area. Like I said before, you can use your menu to check where you are, so do that to look at where you are. The third area is at Kashkabald Desert, which is on the Centra Continent. It is located east of Centra Ruins, and the desert right of Cactuar Island. Take your Ragnarok, and fly to the area mentioned. The forth and final area is a small island in Heath Peninsula, in the Trabia area. This area is hard to see (and explain...). Try going to the Heath Peninsula and explore the small islands one by one (that's what I did) using the Ragnarok, to fly over the small islands. Run around the area to encounter the final UFO. :: Battle With the UFO :: NOTE: This part is a little tricky!! After you have done seeing the UFOs at the four different places, go to Grandidi Forest, the huge forest north of Esthar. Once there, use your Ragnarok and fly to the plateau north of the Chocobo Forest. Fly all the way East to locate The Island Closest To Heaven (Use the menu to tell your location). Fly and land on the cliff between the Chocobo Forest and The Island Closest To Heaven. Run around and you should battle with the UFO. The UFO is very easy. Why? Because it never attacks you. Simply attack it till it dies. Don't bother to use any magic on it, attacking him is good enough. The UFO will drop an Aegis Armlet after the battle. Some important things you should take note of: Don't try to make a card out of it as it cannot be carded. Don't mug it for items as it doesn't have any. Don't try devouring it as it cannot be devoured. :: Meeting PuPu :: NOTE: PuPu, will not attack you. After you have defeated the UFO, fly to the area where Balamb Garden once was. Run around the area until you go into a battle with PuPu. Now, you will have a choice to choose: Choice 1: Getting PuPu's Card Remember the Optional Requirements which stated 5 Elixers? Now is the time for using them. Make sure any one of your party has the 'Item' command equipped. Once you miss your opportunity with PuPu, you can never meet him again. Each round, PuPu will ask for an Elixir. Just give him what he wants until you give him a total of 5 Elixers. After thanking you, you will get a PuPu's Card. PuPu's card, is non other than an ordinary card used for Triple Triad. Choice 2: Getting Accelerator PuPu only has 10HP, kill him and you will receive an Accelerator. If you choose to take the Accelerator, you can never get PuPu's Card for the rest of the game. Like the UFO, don't use any magic on him, attacking him will be fine. The Accelerator teaches any one of your GF the Auto-Haste command and nothing more. Like before, Don't try to make a card out of it as it cannot be carded. Don't mug it for items as it doesn't have any. Don't try devouring it as it cannot be devoured. If I were you, I would reject Choice 2 and go for Choice 1, getting PuPu's card. Since this is your only opportunity to get PuPu's Card, it is not worth trading PuPu's Card for the Accelerator. But all in all, it's up to you to choose which you prefer. ---------- 4.
