The Thief has a high amount
of Agility and Luck which makes it easier to escape battles
and get first strike. There are many times in the game when
the best option is to run away, especially in long dungeons
and the thief lends well to that. However, he lacks the Strength
of the Warrior and Monk classes, and the magic of the Mage's.
With regards to equipment, the thief is limited to light armor
and weapons. This is is not necessarily a bad thing, however,
as it costs less to equip him. When he changes class, the
thief gets the biggest stats boost, although it's not quite
up to Knights standards as the Knights stats start off higher.
Ninja's can also use black magic up to level 4 and gain access
to a wider variety of equipment. |
