Final Fantasy XII - Story
Final Fantasy XII is a story of the Archadians - a ruthless conquering empire that's invaded nearly every kingdom in the land. With most of the independent states gone, the beautiful township of Dalmasca remains as one of the few unclaimed cities left. That is, until Archadia claims the Dalmascan royal city of Rabanastre. As a young boy named Vaan--an easy going, relaxed personality from Dalmasca that recently lost his family to the ongoing conflict--you will follow his story of rising up against the empire. Along with Penelo, a girl whose parents were also victims to death, you will set out on your emotional journey. Before long, you'll get involved in an important battle--the first moments of a new war--and end up meeting Ashe - the Dalmascan princess. From here on out, all aspects of the story will gradually unfold as things develop and you meet more characters. Also, to avoid any confusion, it's important to note that although Final Fantasy XII is in the same location/setting (Ivalice) as Final Fantasy Tactics Advance, it's a completely new story, with completely new characters and environments.
