Final Fantasy IV: Introduction

The world is in danger once again... A great evil is gathering the four Crystals in hopes of using their power to conquer everything.

As the commander of the air force of Baron, Cecil has been given the task of forcefully taking the four crystals of earth. While his tasks are evil, his heart is not, and he finds himself dispelled from the Red Wings, and on his own journey that ultimately leaves the fate of the world in his hands.

Previously released as Final Fantasy 2 on the SNES, it's made a comeback as the rightful Final Fantasy 4, in it's re-release with Chrono Trigger in Final Fantasy Chronicles.

There are differences between the previously released Final Fantasy 2 and the Final Fantasy 4 for PSX. The Final Fantasy 4 in Chronicles is the second version of Final Fantasy 4, which was originally released in Japan as Final Fantasy 4 Hard Type. This meant that it's much more challenging than the previously released version. The difference was the introduction of real-time battles, versus the turn-based battles of the previous Final Fantasy titles.

Also inserted into the new version of the game was new magic, monsters, items, and beautiful 3D CG animation sequences.

Relive the story of a young man thrown into a journey, faced with darkness, loss and sorrow, and bring the light back to the world.
