Zidane Tribal "You don't need a reason to help people" The main protagonist of the game, Zidane is fun loving, mischievous and a ladies man with a rather spiffy looking tail to boot. He leads the Tantalus in the kidnapping of Princess Garnet and his actions inevitably lead him on a journey that forever changes him and his comrades. The secret behind his tail is hidden deep in his past and somehow connected with a mysterious man named Kuja. Although he may come off as a bit of a rogue and someone who just can't be taken seriously, Zidane actually has a more caring side to his personality and a charisma about him that draws people to him. He is protective of all his friends and is willing to even lay his life down even for his worst enemy. Zidane is a thief and naturally he can steal items off enemies in battle and in addition to this uses a number of thief abilities such as "Flee" or "Detect." Naturally he is the quickest and has a reasonable attack. However his defence is fairly poor and it may take many tries to steal good items off bosses but it is well worth your while to try. Commands Attack Zidane uses Daggers or a dual bladed staff as his main weapons. Steal Attempt to steal an item off the enemy Skill Allows him to use a variety of thief abilities that aid in escaping, stealing or damaging the enemy. Item To use an item. Trance When Zidane is in trance, his Skill command changes to Dyne.
