Final Fantasy Tactics - Character Bios/Classes - Archer

Archer
The archer is the first class with ranged attacks, not counting the throw stone ability. As a result, they can effectively attack without having to get in range of dangerous characters. Their charge skill is strong, but the higher level skills are practically useless as the target almost always moves before they get to attack. One magic bows become available, the Archer can to very impressive damage. However, once you start to get more powerful magic and guns, the archer's usefulness starts to wane. All over, the Archer class is very useful for levelling up weaker character who need more JP, but not a whole lot else in later chapters.
