Final Fantasy Tactics - Character Bios/Classes - Bard Bard The Bard is the male equivalent of the Dancer, your reward for fully training a male party member in the wizard track. Unlike the Dancer, the Bard's abilities all affect your allied units, upping their stats and casting a variety of beneficial status effects. On the downside, the Bard has the largest HP handicap of any unit in the game, meaning he needs to be kept away from the enemy - not that it matters, since his abilities affect every allied unit on the field.
