Mediator
The mediator is useful for one reason - they are the only job class able to recruit monsters into your party permenantly. They can use the gun weapon class, allowing them to cause considerable damage from a great distance once you locate the magical guns. However, apart from charming monsters and adjusting brave/faith scores, the mediator has very little to offer a team, making them a poor long-term choice. At most, the talk skill set should be used as a secondary ability set.
