Final Fantasy Tactics - Character Bios/Classes - Monk

Monk
The Monk class features heavily specialized attacks and jobs skills. During the middle of the game, the Monk is one of the best offensive-line Job Classes. However, they cannot equip weapons, are restricted to light armor and they cannot use head gear. Therefore, compared to the knight they are not the best chose for close combat. Dispite the lack of high HP, the Monk has exceptional Speed, Agility, and Attack Power. One blow with their fists can cause more damage then a single sword-strike because it's AT strength isn't limited by the weapons power. In addition, the Monks action skills are perhaps the most versatile, ranging from perimeter, distance attacks, and curative spells. As the Monk's Brave points rise, so do their attack strength. The most useful action skills you can purchase are Earth Slash, Chakra, Revive and Wave Fist.
