Final Fantasy Tactics - Character Bios/Classes - Oracle

Oracle
The Oracle uses Status magic as its spell selection, which can be a battle winner or totally useless, depending on your foe's equipment. They have the most choice for weaponry in the mage path, including the ever-useful staff, allowing them to attack from two panels away, thus avoiding the risk of a counterattack. With Black Magic as a secondary ability set, they can be very useful, but their status spells tend to become somewhat obsolete if you recruit Beowulf into your party.
