The Ivalice world
map menu is the players navigation tool and is packed with
action. Most of the navigation takes place on the world map,
so learning how to use it to your advantage is imparative
to the players quest. Every choice you make affects the world
of Ivalice. |

Events On the World Map |

After a few missions, the player will recive a
new location symbol. You can place the symbol on any piece of
empty terrain. Make sure you chose carefully as where you place
the towns and terrain affects treasure hunts. |

After the player places a symbol on the Ivalice world map,
other symbols may begin to shake. This indicates that a treasure
hunt has unlocked. Travel to these areas and search them well. |

|
Story line events and encounters with other clans will often
appear on the world map. All the random battles will yield treasure,
Gil, and AP and are a great way to build up your own clan. |
