Final Mix - Introduction

Kingdom Hearts: Final Mix

KH:FM is the "ultimate" incarnation of Kingdom Hearts, featuring extended scenes, new items and new enemies. The intention of KH:FM was to allow Japanese gamers a chance to experience the additions put into the original game for the Western release - plus a shedload of extras never before seen.

Apart from the Western additions (Sephiroth, Ice Titan, Kurt Zisa etc), KH:FM features new weapons, new items, new colour schemes for all the Heartless, all new Heartless and the crowning achievment - a long-awaited showdown between Cloud and Sephiroth! New difficulty settings were also added, as was a function Squaresoft fans have been asking for since the dawn of time - the ability to skip cutscenes, very useful before attempting a boss battle for the 50th time.

Also, KH:FM features a new trailer for KH2, primarily featuring "Unknown" and "Blind", extending on what can be found in the trailer in the original KH. This 3 minute long trailer is a real eye-opener! (we have taken screengrabs which can be found in the Final Mix section.)

As if that wasn't enough, Squaresoft decided to torment Western gamers further by releasing Kingdom Hearts: Final Mix Platinum Limited. This limited edition version of KH:FM features a Block Figure of "Mini Collection - Sora", a 2003 calendar with artwork by Tetsuya Nomura, 8 stickers, 3 badges and a CD case. We demand that all Kingdom Hearts fans join us in a march on the Squaresoft Japan building to force them into releaseing KH:FM and KH:FMPL in the West!
