Final Fantasy The Spirits With In:
Introduction By Hyperblade
 |
Millions of years in the future,
all is not well. The world has been dominated by Demons and
the human race is on the verge of extinction. The remaining
Humans must do all they can to find a way to save the world.
Dr.Aki Ross and Dr.Cid believe that the answer lies in the ancient
Belief about Gia, the spirit of the earth. However the rest
of the Human authority thing differently
Aki Ross must now set on her mission to find the Seven spirits,
which will combine with her and make the ultimate weapon againist
these monsters. Aided by her old friend and his team, Aki must
embark on a mission which will determine the fait of the world.
Final Fantasy: The Spirits With In was SquareSoft's first fully
3D animated movie, and most probably will be the last. After
the countless money Square spent on the production of this movie
it's a shame that this movie was a complete disaster. The money
loss was so great that projects like the Remakes of Final Fantasy
7 and 8 for the PlayStaion 2, were abondoned.
The question is why was this movie such a disaster? The story
line was great....The Animation and Character modelling were
superb. The way all the movie looks is amazing. No game, Movie
can compare to it's superb animation and Modelling. The aniticpation
for this movie was humongous. Why did it fail? The Answer is
simple.
Most of the movie viewers were Final Fantasy fans like myself
were dissapointed by the storyline. We all thought that this
movie would have a storyline similar to that of the Final Fantasy
Games Series, instead of being another "Save the world
from Demons and Aliens" flick. This dissapointed the majority
of Final Fantasy Fans and lead to the downfall of the movie.
However it cannot be denied that Square undoubtedly created
a master piece. The storyline was great. it had a weird start,
and a sad ending. The animation as I mentioned before was exceptional.
If only we Final Fantasy fans could have seen the movie as a
movie and not as the Great game series that is "Final Fantasy
1-XI". |
